  1. I had the opportunity to play on this map while playing custom games. We played capture the flag, king of the hill, and slayer. The mix of long and close range areas make this map stand out in my opinion. I really enjoyed the time I spent on this map. Would recommend
  2. Very good map to say the least, jumping across the map with lifts, having the high ground advantage to take on the enemy team. Height mechanic that only a few maps in halo 3 that takes it advantage of and allowing a player to go across the map by skilled players knowing the map. Had fun with it with the different game modes and objectives. :)

    10/5,
Awesome map for CTF, but the KotH is where the mayhem really ensues. Feels very refreshing but still traditional. The OG Halo vertical combat feel.
  4. This map has a great balance.. the verticality makes it quite exciting and enjoyable to play on. I've played on this map several times and honestly its better than a lot of the base maps already within halo 3. 5/5 highly recommend playing on this map.

I really hope those reviews are actually legit. However, the accounts were all made the same day so it's pretty sus.

That being said, this map doesn't really need artificial popularity boosters because it's a fine map. I don't see too many 4v4 maps in this format and the lifts do offer a great way to contest the center of the map where rockets are. It tended to get a little spawn campy at certain points however as people would just keep spawning at the bases, although this could just be because I think we were playing Flag. I'm in these photos, actually. I'm on Blue Team with the Security Helmet.

Vehicles on 4v4 is still iffy for me but this map pulls it off better than the other vehicle 4v4 maps in H3. The vehicles on the map actually have room to move around and you can avoid them by controlling the top portion of the map. A good balance IMO.

The sad thing is that a lot of the action didn't revolve around the outer lanes of the map in Slayer but this small room underneath the middle platform. You can just chuck nades in there and you kill them. Map definitely works best as a Flag and King map.

Overall, better than Ghost Town. Would play again. 3/5 map.

Your accusation: They're all real reviews and the fact you assumed the reviews were fake and then accused me publicly based on that assumption during a map competition is childish. You should have asked the reviewers if they were fake but you possibly cost me a place in the competition which would have meant a lot to me.

Your review: "But the map wasn't that great?" If you wanna persevere in your obscure and individual hot take by standing against the widespread and strongly positive opinions virtually every map tester you were around for then more power to you. Not only did virtually everyone love the map, but I know good map design perfectly well and I was in BluePrint, the top 500 map makers when Bungie was around.

"When Bob has a problem with everyone, Bob is the problem."

You should validate your assumptions before making a public accusation during a map competition that was meaningful and important to many people and to me.
