Map Description

    "The world of the sky, floating in peace, with the planet so far below."

    This large FFA/ Team slayer maps works very well with roughly 8 players. There is a variety of ways to eliminate the threat of the wasp swiftly using the plasma pistols, splinter grenades, or the neutral SPNKr. Despite using parkour mechanics this map functions very, VERY well at doing its job. The layout does draw inspiration from Lockout in Halo 2 and Guardian from Halo 3 along by combining concepts of verticality, tight corridors, and long sightlines. It also has aspects of Blood Gulch from Halo CE, where it draws from natural terrain which is used to break up sightlines. The last sense of inspiration I drew from was Titanfalls multiplayer I tried very hard to encourage movement around the map in a similar fashion to that of Titanfall. Keeping sight lines long, while maintaining ways in and out of almost all areas with ease, encourages players to move from location to location. Parkour elements are used to test a players skill and to challenge standard stand and shoot and forces people to focus on moving and shooting, standing still is not very viable on this map. At one point a player may be shooting cross map, and the next he may be engaged in a close-quarter battle, he may be jumping off a cliff or grabbing a zip line. No matter what happens though there is always a way out of the area you're in. THE MORE YOU LOOK THE MORE THIS MAP OPENS UP, Look around and more routes that will appear.

    I could not have had more fun making this map, from play testing to building I couldn't have enjoyed this more. I would love to see more maps developed like this that draw from these ideas.

    -The "Use it or Lose it" principal
    Near impossible with standard movement settings to navigate without spartan abilities. Use them or lose your points

    Two astehetic problems I have...

    - The marble columns holding up the rock roofs of the mini islands should be replaced with something thinner

    - That one broken plank really just breaks traversing flow, IMO it serves no purpose

    Other than those things this map feels and looks gorgeous.

    If you're gonna spam updates like that, you could at least make your update posts have better quality. Maybe include pictures so people can see what the changes were.

    Some of the actual updates themselves are pretty pointless (minor color changes, weapons being removed/added). Try to update only when it's big and important so it doesn't look like you're just trying to keep your map on the front page. Right now, you're just clogging the maps section.

    I would feel bad not telling anyone about new weapon changes and not keeping the map up to date. I am sorry if that is the way this came across I did not mean for that to be the way to interpreted. The aesthetic only updates I understand why they may be seen as helpful, but sometimes if I touch up the map I want the people who play it to be able to know about them. Thanks for the advice I will add photos in future updates and update less frequently.
