Map Description

  1. Ascend Hyperion
"Dive into the Dust Palace. Learn its secrets. Become its shadow"

Archaic aka Explore: The Dust Palace is a Exploration/Puzzle map, that allows players to venture further into the theme of the Dust Palace.

Made to recreate the free roam mentality within Halo, Archaic features several play options in order to hold player interest. This includes:

    Co-op Puzzles
    Parkour Challenges
    Easter Eggs and Secrets
    7 Hidden Skulls
    and a Lore Driven Theme
In addition, this posting will be filled Lore driven stories about the Dust Palace. Some will be tied to the secrets, puzzles and skulls located on the map. Upon completion of a task, players can check back here to learn more.

    Custom Gametype: Exploration

Nine pictures was not enough to encapsulate this map. The only way to see it all is to check it out! As always I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas!

    --------------------------------------------------------

    "Once more, unto the breach..."
After our initial assault on the Dust Palace, it was overwhelming clear that we knew even less about it than we thought. Regardless, The Null have begun converging their forces back on the sector. Whatever we did in that summoning chamber, we did it right.

I'm clearing a request to redeploy Spartans to the palace. We need to infiltrate deeper. We need to learn more. If that Dust Lord makes good on that threat, things are bound to get plenty more eventful pretty soon.

    Get it done Spartans.

Why is this filed under Aesthetic Maps? :) I never saw this until now. From the pictures it looks better than all puzzle maps that got featured on Youtube. I'll come back with a review.

    Is it playable alone?

Haha I appreciate the compliments. I built the map to get rid of a bunch of ideas I had in mind revolving around this theme.

TBH it really isn't too much a complex puzzle map. There is a bunch of simple tasks like finding a key item or activating the right switch. It has a much more difficult parkour element to the key item part.

The overall goal is to collect all the skulls.

There is a hidden room that requires three players to access though.
