Map Description

   No one knows who or what created this place, or even what its purpose is, but one thing is clear... There is power here worth fighting for.
   
   
   
   I've spent a while working on maps purely for fun; Just kind of exercising my creativity, never putting Halo-style gameplay at the forefront of my designs... Well that should change with Arcana.
   
   It's layout is definitely intended to evoke that Halo feel, with layers of elevation, multiple pathways per area and pockets of action that vary depending on your immediate environment.
   
   I had the desire to use the Ghost as a power weapon. It is perfectly suited for this map, being able to go almost anywhere unhindered. The lack of anti-vehicle weapons, aside from various grenades, makes concentrated fire and hijacking essential.
   
   Strongholds, Slayer and CTF should all play somewhat differently and utilize different parts of the map. For instance, the teleporters will likely become very strategic points for CTF, where as they may not be more than a convenience in other modes. Strongholds will really highlight the horseshoe aspect of the map, where as the other modes will play more horizontally.
   
   Aesthetically I really wanted it to be simple and elegant with a tone of mystery. Typically I go nuts with details and take full advantage of that budget, but for the sake of flow and frames, I'll be keeping it pretty much as it is in future versions.
   
   I went exclusively alien in my weapon choices; Lot's of Carbines and Plasma Rifles, with appearances by the Needler, Energy Sword and even a REQ Storm Rifle (two to be exact). Also can find four Plasma grenades and Splinter grenades, which, as I mentioned, will be your best defense against that pesky Ghost.
   
   
   I can't wait to test this map and look forward to improving this one based on feedback. Please let me know of your experiences and criticisms!
