Love reading the explanation of what the forger was aiming for. Because you nailed it.
Overall, I really dig this map. Particularly like the flag placement in ctf. Exposed, but not necessarily easy to grab.
Also a great map for strongholds.
My only gripe, and it's probably just personal preference, is the pretty extensive use of forrunner weapons. Makes absolute sense thematically, but I do tend to get frustrated when looking for a weapon to swing a bad situation and all that's around is a bolt shot or suppressor.
With a lack of vehicles etc I can see why hydra or Railgun mightn't suit, but it does feel like there's something missing as far as mid tier weapons go.
Binary x 2, cannon, then peashooters is what it almost feels like.
Anyway, again, that may be personal preference re weapons, layout and navigation and map balance are all GREAT.
