    I started this map months ago and have been polishing it hoping that someone might take a look at it. Amitayus is a celestial convenant ship with a magnetizing beacon element, snake accented trim, three+ tiered treehouse bases, many funkin elements.

    I originally intended the map to be a stronghold map but I really felt like other game modes emphasized certain features of the map. I cant tell if this map plays better for Stronghold or CTF I would love feedback. The map is currently setup for both.
    ( This revision will dictate what objects I would eliminate for the new cameras) Im also debating whether I put this in a Halo Ring skybox... I have an alternative versus in my bookmarks labeled DARKSIDE OF AMITAYUS to get a better idea of what I'm thinking. If both skyboxes work for everyone maybe I make one versus dark for Stronghold and etc. and the other versus a light skybox for ie. CTF.

    Original design when first posted.



    I'm a package designer by day in the non-Halo world so I have used a lot of my design patterns and color background themes I use on packaging.
    ( STARK, BOLD, CLEAN AND MODERN) This is my first ever map I created in Halo or any game for that matter. I have been using this as a creative outlet for the last couple of months while freelance designing from the house.

    This is the kind of math that's fun for Slayer but can also be entered just to look around in. High marks fun and Aesthetics.
  2. The crazy aesthetics of this map are awesome. There's an incredible diversity of details and immersive dislays., no dount about it. Gameplay it's fun sometimes, the layout on the middle is quite balanced but the perimeter ares are almost useless, breaking the flow of the game. I've read this map is kinda an experiment and I admire the artistic intention.
  3. This map definitely is good for what it is. This map should only be played for fun purposes and nothing more.

    Its true that there really is no core focus to the map or any control over it. The map itself is true to what it is and looks really nice.

    Its shiny and random and feel that if Willy wonka made a Halo 5 map, this would be the end result. Good job, keep it up!

    Awesome map . Looks and plays great. CTF is ok but team slayer, fiesta slayer and FFA are def the best game modes for this maps. I thought the basement area was an odd area because there doesn't seem to be a reason to go down there in and game mode other than stronghold. But it's still one of the best forged maps I've bookmarked.

    Awesome map. Great gameplay. CTF and slayer 6v6 are great game modes for this aesthetically pleasing forge map

    thanks im glad you dig it . IM going to update the weapon spawns a little and I will be providing a dark infection version of this map shortly

    Hey man. I think that once your map post has had 5 updates, only update it again if it's a big important update. You got like 11 already and some of the updates are unimportant like "Added a BR" or "Replaced the Storm Rifle". No one gives a **** if you added a BR dude.

    Most of the people regularly browsing the maps page here have probably seen this map already and all these pointless updates are just making your map post clutter the front page.

    From what I've seen the map's kinda garb too and no amount of minor adjustments will fix that. Either make an important overhaul/redesign of the entire map or just move on.

    Ill be a little more mindful when posting updates bro. I got a little update crazy. I'm in the process of making major adjustments with overall the flow, I have had a bunch of follow forgers say a lot of the similar and to adjust with the critism. I I think I'm just being a little ADD with trying to keep posted with pics and information but I'll try to Def tone it down a little thanks. Yeh I'm in the process of finishing of a couple other maps as well but I'm a little more mindful now what standard of height and width of halls, stairs, ceilings, etc. after a couple good forgers and pro players had given me a walk thru and gave some good advice to work a little smaller and that for a first forged map that it was legit but just needed to be a little retought on floor layout and to just look at the maps that work. Thanks again for taking a look at it tho. And again sorry for the ten million updates... I just realized when writing this you probably get a email every time... So Yeh again my fault.
