Yet another natural-themed map, this is inspired by my younger obsession with the Sonic series and the floating island that makes an appearance in Sonic 3. The main challenge in this one was getting the flow right in a map that essentially has no center area, and trying to keep movement from being predictable in what then becomes a large broken circular track. The varied height, terrain and flow of each island makes for some unpredictable routes, including the two level island.
I was happy with the cohesion and aesthetic idea overall. As always I am open to criticism, but would rather remake than fix a map most of the time if the idea holds, and more likely will just take the usable parts and try to incorporate them into later work. I had the idea for awhile and may at some point re-imagine it. There is some issues with the one lift involving holding/not holding forward during the lift and getting stuck under the outcrop. I personally did not have that issue but other players noted it, though I liked the challenge of landing properly and having the chance of falling is a large part of the map's play.
