6v6 Strongholds

Map Description

  1. BaliTech
    Academy presents three different levels of elevation split down the middle by an open courtyard and a wide array of stair ways.
    Evenly matched, each side is provided with a single vehicle and three different choices of placed weapons. Power weapons have been placed out in the courtyard to encourage full map gameplay. The Sniper Rifle is the only exception, placed at the highest point of the map centrally located. To weaken its position slightly it has been placed on an open pathway with multiple different access points.
    Parking structures on both sides of the map, connected by two center pathways, make for amazing Stronghold & Capture the Flag gameplay.
    Blue Team spawns on top of the left parking structure while Red Team spawns inside the right parking structure, eliminating initial sight lines.

    Strongholds:
    Each Stronghold location is strategically placed. One in the center courtyard, another on the top of the left parking structure, and the last inside the right parking structure.

    Capture the Flag:
    Each flag base is placed behind each team's initial spawn locations.

    The initial game type the map was intended to support was Slayer. While Slayer and FFA play incredibly well, Strongholds came out to be exceptional in gameplay.

    My inspiration for the map came from a local tech company I do private security for. The creation is my own other than some areas where the general layout of the property was mimicked. Major changes needed to be made to compliment Halo's very unique gameplay.
