i was minding my own business, forging my map when some asshole comes into my party off of my recent players list and starts deleting my canvas down in the crypt. luckily i save after everything i do but what an asshole. his gamer tag was warlock129. just letting you guys know not to forge in an open party for there are **** heads out there with nothing else to do but piss you off and i'd hate to see it happen to someone else after not saving for a while.
this happened to me once, before i joined FH. it wasn't a big deal, i just started making the map. i usually play invite only or local now.
No **** sherlock. He did it because he is a envyous **** that doesnt like the fact that people forge better than him. Hes porbally only just discovered how to delete and thought he would go for a test run. It will happen with anything, people get jelous of peoples creativity, FGS I was playing a multiplayer flash game were it is fridge magnets and whenever you tried to do something kl, some son of a ***** would just drag everything all over the place.
I remember Bungie said something about this in one of their updates, this kid was forging when he was called for supper. When he came back everything was gone or rearranged except a message written in weapons saying lol or hahahahaha or something like that.
Dude, I remember my first map ever this happened. And I got so pissed off because the kid deleted my whole map. Which was basically 3 open boxes floating on teleporters. Hahaha. I was like, DAMMIT, it took me SIX HOURS to float all that ****!
No offense, but that was pretty stupid. I enjoy the combo of: Local forging game + XBox Live Chat Party that you're in alone, that way, if you need help, they can help you by chatting.
speaking of this, i have recently just started saving after *EVERY* single ****in thing i do. i spent atleast 2 hours starting out my project im working on, i pause to start a new round, and end up ending the game. i lost everythign and had to start over /sympathy Pl0x
After 32 rounds, halo 3 will automatically end the game. It doesn't have enough memory to handle more than that.
Does it really do that? I always thought I mindlessly drifted to the end game option rather than new round...
You dont have to forge alone tough, I find it sad that there is noone you would trust to forge with you. Yeah obv close the party because theres always jewfags of recent players that thinks its tottaly hilarious to join a game and delete hours worth of work, then you laugh in their face because youve already saved the goddam map!
