I've recently started building my first Sandbox map, and I'm doing it on one of those Skybubble canvases with all the original objects moved up there. I know that they're not deleted in order to maintain the largest possible object limit, but my question is, what if you aren't using most of those objects in your map? One map I downloaded had reach the object limit, so I deleted a spawn point and was then able to spawn a weapon. I thought that if you deleted the objects then it would make the OLN one item smaller, but apparently that wasn't the case. So, is it alright to delete the "stacked" objects if you aren't using them and need to spawn more of another object, or should I try and incorporate the stacked objects into my map? Thanks in advance.
You don't need to use all of them for the OLN objects to take place, each new object you creates takes one of the 650 objects you can have in sandbox, however the OLN objects don't take a place in the 650. So that spawn point you deleted got rid of one of the 650 objects (the limit dropped to 649) and the weapon filled the limit back up to 650. Does that make sense?
Yeah, I think I've got it. So if you loaded up default Sandbox and deleted everything (including gametype-specific items), then you'd only be able to spawn 650 objects? Anyway, thanks for the reply.
