Oh I love this map and I live in Texas. But anyway the main idol just gets me every time, it is just... so... cool...
Can you make a list of things you changed? so I know already all the changes when I download the new version. It would help a brotha out!

How did you get the grass in the first pic? Is that teleporters??? Also, how did you get the mountains to look so real in the first pic? Edit: I think I am delerious... I have the flu, and I found myself climbing on the counter in nothing but a ski cap. Sorry if I sound weird.
Thanks!! I feel it really adds to the map as a whole. Plus, its probably the least known of the Wonders of the World. I'm glad I could share a part of it with all of you. I'm sure many people had never even heard of Machu Picchu until my map. I would love to know what you think of the map after you check it out
this was one of the first maps i ever tested. its probably the reason i enjoy testing so much. because its an outstanding map. yer s0 cr3ative!
MACHU PICCHU v2 is now available I replaced the original DL link with the new one in the original post. List of version 2 improvements: -Adjusted respawn times of the turret and sentinel beam, again -Flipped spawns of a BR and a Carbine on the Temple face to influence more movement and an even quicker pace. -Patched a hole in a corner of the map that allowed access outside the map (most didn't even realize it was there to begin with) -Added a bit more geometry to the Attack base. -Added a few more spawn points -Gift from the Gods: The regenerator located at the Idol is no longer held by a weapon holder, and free-falls from the Idol to the grounds (once a minute) -Moved the Beam Rifle to a more accessible location (I found it wasn't really being used too much because people forgot it was there).
Yeh it was a great idea! I'm really happy about that change, and also the Beam Rifle move. It'll have a much larger affect on gameplay now. Thanks! It was a trying process, but worth it. Merging gets easier every time you do it
This was a lot of fun playing here last night, even though we totally lost. The spawns seemed a little sketchy at times (seemed like I would always spawn under fire), but we did have a larger party than this map was intended for. But it's a great CTF map and I encourage everyone else to check it out.
Thanks Squid, the map flows alot better with 8 players more than anyone else. I can't remember if we had 10 or 12, but either way it was still alot of fun. I expect you to not be so lost next time!
ya, lightsout, i didn't catch your reply til just now, but I have been going by Tex for the longest time, my name on the internet has been TxsOutlaw for sooo long...but I can understand what you mean, after being called Tex for so long, it is wierd calling someone else Tex...
