Yeah, I downloaded it off of your fileshare. =P

My only suggestion would be to make it more open. There are a few buildings in Lumumba, but those are easily accessible from multiple sides. On Litiwoni there are other spots where there are only 2 entrances, which then promotes camping, especially by the Spartan Laser. The only way I can see to fix this would be to make it more of a hallway, or leave a hole in the ceiling near the center.

This is just basing off the gameplay from Infection. I think Litiwoni may play considerably better than Lumumba at escort, but I'll try that out later.

One of the more defiantly things for this map... This HAS to be fun!
I love the Class choosing system. Its unique to say the least. The only problem I have with it is the fact that the Covenant can go always for one class if they wanted to. Ect, Be a Brute Chieftan everytime he respawns. Even if the stuff has a timed Respawn, they can camp there until they get it. I like the Health Packs too,
Thats really creative! Love the map, Going to DL when I get home.

    4.8/5

Actually, when playing as a Covenant soldier, you only have 15 seconds to pick up weapons after you respawn. You could camp at the spawns, but the only things you would only be able to pick up are Invis, Overshield, and the Plasma Turret.

I played this yesterday again. People were just so lost about the classes no matter how many times i explained it. Also, (I didn't have this problem the first time) many classes were missing parts due to spawn times like the grav hammer, the overshield, the sword, etc.

This is a fairly good map, and the gameplay is great. We played through the map, and my friends were confused for a round or 2, but after that, the gameplay was extremely fun. The urban-style map has a good feeling, as it felt like nighttime while we were playing. Playing this made me think that ODST should be styled like this, except for a few foul ups I don't even know. The forging is great, and even though there is a canonical (no elites in ODST, and they're already allied with humans) error, this would still be very fun for the firefight mode.

    Forging- 9.7/10
    Aesthetic- 10/10
    Gameplay- 9/10
    Overall- 9.5/10

well done, it looks great! im just wondering...

    1) Do all covenant start out as grunts(with plasma pistols), because if so, u used the custom powerups for health packs and that means the only thing the would make covenant stronger is oversheilds which are only used for brutes, right? So the elites would stay as weak as grunts.

    2) And if all covenant start out as strong as elites and brutes, that means that some peaple that don't get a chance to pick better weapons will go in the game as normal grunts, but have health like an elite!

The map looks great but i will not say anything about gameplay until I understand this better.

First off I have to say, D00d dis m4p is PWNZ!!!

All noobiness aside, I have to ask, what would happen if you jumped into a tube right after your friend does and he takes everything and you're stuck in the tube? Would you have to go grunt?

Correct, but one strategy I've seen use often is only take weapons that you will be needing, just so the collective Covenant team is stronger, rather than have one Brute Chieftain with a Spiker, Turret, and Grav Hammer, just have one guy take a Grav hammer, Spiker, and OS, and have the other guy take a Turret.

I haven't tested it yet, or even finished downloading, but just by looking at your screenshots, your descriptions, and all of these comments i can already tell this will become a great addition to forge hub and halo 3 as a whole. Very creative, very well thought out & put together! Good work!!

I would still like my question answered if you didn't see it. If you don't answer this or one of my statements are true, then the gameplay of this map will not play smoothly.

No. They became 'allies' between Halo 2 and Halo 3, but ODST takes place during Halo 2.

In his defense Halo ODST takes place at the last week of halo2 and then goes into halo3. That is basically the time they allied.

No it doesn't. Slipspace takes weeks or months to travel from system to system. ODST takes place a few hours after the beginning while they are still in transit.

Yes, I will admit that there is a canonical error in my map, but you have to admit, the classes play well together despite the fact. Also, UNSC ships take 3-4 weeks to travel that far. Covenant ships can travel a lot faster I believe, and are more accurate. Also, ODST takes place 6 hours after the slipspace jump.

Yes, you do start out as a 'grunt', but then you choose a class. If I had a method for making Grunts significantly weaker, or 'one shot', that would completely change the game. Face it, playing as a Grunt wouldn't be fun whatsoever

Okay, but how strong are the grunts. Are they very weak or strong. Because, if they are weak, then the elite class would be as weak as and if they are strong, well, that is just not a grunt.

Okay, you have to understand there really is no 'grunt' class. A grunt is just someone who either jumps straight toward the teleporter or goes into a tube only to find there are no weapons left, so they have to use their Plasma Pistol. The only classes are Jackal, Brute, Brute Chieftain, Elite, and Elite Honor Guard. No Grunt.

Okay, understand now, but then what would a person be if he went through the tubes without weapons or oversheilds. A jakal maybe? Its just that in mine i had everything u have, including grunts, with their correct health and weapons, so i was just wondering how u made this work without using custom powerups for the covenant.
