This map will take place in sandbox and will have 2 things. A big(not that big, just as big as i can make it) ship that has 4 drop pods and a hanger( if i can make the ground drop like the forward unto dawn's hanger, that would be perfect). And an a base for the other team. Now the map is hardly finished. I just made the 3 drops and i need to to make one more. I will try to update my progress each day or so. Here is what i have so far. Update 8-12-09 Im almost finished with the hanger. The only thing i want to is make the hornet hang in the air just like the pelicans in this scene YouTube - Halo 3 Scene 6-1. just skip it to 0:51 (if anyone has an idea how to do that fill free to post it up).

I've already said this before, but if you're going to attempt something like this, then I recommend that you build a big flat area first floating at the level you want your ship to be, so it's easier for you to make your ship. You won't have to save/quit everytime.
What do you mean by that? If you mean have it disappear for a while so you can interlock something with it, then I'd recommend seeing this. Is this your first 'big' project? Because I admire that you've taken on a feat such as this, but still. I recommend you see that and the Forging 101 tutorials. They're very helpful, and will definitely help you make your map neater, and nicer to look at and give it more aesthetic value.
