So I recently acquired adobe illustrator, and had a hell of a lot of fun figuring stuff out, so I decided I should create an LP for the LP contest, and this is what I came up with. I just want to have some suggestions on how to improve it, that's why it's in CnC lol.
Aww, man. I would really, really love to get illustrator. +tablet. Anyhow, I think the hexagons are a bit overdone.
Yeah, it'd be sick if there was about 10 of them in the middle, and the lines are great, but they're just everywhere.
Ah yes, I acquired Adobe Illustrator a while ago. It is quite a nice program, but you really need a tablet to use to its fullest potential. It's a very nice piece, but maybe crop the bottom a bit.
Hmm... I was trying to put a bunch of them there, but still focus on the hexagonal shape, any suggestions? Can you elaborate? Yeah the bottom does seem pretty empty, I think I will crop.
Well, to balance it out, how some crazy shapes in the background to spice it up, and add to the flow. I like the idea, but if you want it simple, try removing some hexagons, and enlargening some of the hexagons to avoid tiny ones being over clustered, but still taking up the same amount of space.
While I couldn't resize the hexagons without completely restarting the piece I was able to fill in some of the smaller cluttered areas with solid colors to make it seem less cluttered.
