At first, using bumper jumper was difficult, but after you get used to it bumper jumper is quite helpful. You can jump and melee without taking you thumb off the thumbstick, which allows you to still look around and change direction. But now if I try to play COD again, I find myself throwing random grenades at teammates and I'm like WTFLOL!
I use bumper jumper: When I first put it on I failed miserable trying to get use to it. About 3 months later I tried it again and was able to use it effectively in about a day. Bumper Jumper has its pluses for MLG players like: you can jump and BR without taking your thumb off the left thumb stick and it allows for better flag runs if you master it correctly. I am not an MLG player but I like Bumper Jumper because it allows for faster melee and easier jumping. Also, switching the action button to "B" doesn't have disadvantages or advantages. Over all Bumper Jumper has improved my game play a lot. I would recommend Bumper Jumper to anybody who asks. It truely is worth the time to get use to it.
I can't play on default, I litterally HAVE to use bumper jumper, seeing how I switched to bumpber jumper a couple days after I got my 360 + halo 3, It only took me a couple games to get used to. Seeing how I play Lone wolves and get swords a lot, (using RB (B for default)) I can swing and get behind them at the same time, easy assassination.
Lol Dow, same here. I jump up stairs (not that useful), Jump to awesome hiding places (useful), and I jump onto vehicles and sky/hijack them. Plus, controlling The Banshee and Hornet, MUCH easier. The only problem I have is that if you have to switch a grenade and throw the new grenade, you can't aim it. At least, if you have to throw it instantly.
i used to play boxer until one day my friend and i swapped controllers and i was forced to play bumper jumper: by the end of the match i couldnt go back
I LOVE it now! I use play on default and heard bumper jumper would increase your playing a little so i switched, i played 1 game and im like "Damn, this is hard, screw bumper jumper!" and switched to default again, but i finally got used to it!
for me, once something is ingrained in my head it takes a month to get rid of it so i personaly say that default is better because its the only thing i can use.
Just because people play on Bumper Jumper doesn't mean they can't get out BR'd or something like that. The essential actions, nades LT, shooting RT, jumping LB, beat down RB & the joysticks all rest on the fingers without moving. The only button that doesn't is reload B, which I think that moving you finger to jump is a lot more essential than reloading. So in default you always having to take your finger off the joystick to jump. Ya since you can't move your left hand up so you use your middle finger to nade. I don't think it would be to hard to figure something out like that. Just gotta improvise and not resort to using shitty walkie talkie. Just a suggestion. You shouldn't say something is better when you haven't even tried the other. Or if you did, you should make that more clear.
i already use my middle for nades, the left bumper is useless, so i don't have to use my pointer or use my middle for both. its just easy
I too use bumper jumper, it only took me two days or so to adjust. It paid off with the slight downfall, that it's harder to do the close up snipe punch combo. Which I now fail at.
I used to play on default, like most. Recently I changed to Bumper Jumper. Bumper Jumper is easier because you can still jump with out taking your finger off the right analog stick to aim. Making jumping around a huge advantage over your enemy. I recommend when playing MLG to play with Bumper Jumper and continually hop around, trust me, it helps.
