Crusader Castle

    This is probably one of my best maps...and im not that great at forging so take it easy on me :p...

    This is an infection map where the zombie has to infiltrate the castle and kill the humans.The castle consists of 6 different buildings in the middle of the castle.The pictures below will show what is in the main buildings.The castle has 4 towers placed at every corner of the walls, the back two towers have ramps, a fuel rod(basically meant as an archer weapon) and two fusion coils each(the ramps were made on accident by the way :p).The rest of the details will be described above the pictures...NOTE:I am testing for a good gametype so I will not post a gametype on this thread until I get it to work fairly for the humans and the zombie...

    This is the zombie spawn...after 45 seconds a bridge spawns to the teleporters. [​IMG]

    This is where the Dragon(Banshee) spawns after 120 seconds and the teleporters that the zombie comes out of(made 3 to prevent spawn camp)[​IMG]

    Catapult [​IMG]

    Armor Shop Details: 2x overshields, 75 speed, 75 gravity(acts as armor like in old days makes you strong but slow) They also respawn every 60 seconds...so try not to get them all at once and spare them as needed.[​IMG]

    Once again this is one of my best maps and im not great at forging.Please tell me suggestions to change the map...I've heard such as a secret passageway to escape from the castle...Also tell me if u notice any flaws in the map.I will hopefully come up the game type too and will post it here.

    The aesthetics of this map are great and the gameplay looks fun, one thing i would recommend would be to incorporate the wraith better with the castle, it looks like something you just taped on to the front of it at the last second. Inside the castle looks great and the buildings are terrific. Personally i like the rear tower corner thingys better than the ones in front, but thats just me. Also, i would think that it would be a little one sided. The zombies don't seem to have any cover whatsoever, and their only advantage is a banshee, which doesn't have anything to protect it from some idiot from the castle just shooting it with a rocket before the infected could use it. The one-sided game would be my only issue with the map.

    Yeah i REALLY wanted to put a few oragnized walls down for the zombie but it wouldnt let me place any more objects on the map(?) but the budget isn't gone...and yes I did slap the wraith on at the last second...I had forgot about it until I had almost finished the map...:p

    I would recommend getting rid of the wraith all together and putting some cover for the zombies. I would also say that you didn't really have to make the bridge that long, and you could just put the teleporter 1-2 pieces away instead of 6. And what you hit was the OLN(object limit number) Its just the maximum amount of objects you can put on a map. Other people you can ask about this-Im no expert

    Hmmm i just might remove the Wraith...or perhaps one of the extra unneeded buildings...and also the zombies for the gametype had to not be able to jump to the teleporter so i made it really long because the have 50 gravity and 300 speed(that is actually untested so far)

    Very nice indeed, I like the aesthetics, and your forging skills are 10x better than mine as you may have seen, btw thanks for your post.
    I also like the theme (the shops idea in particular[kinda like and rpg])
    Didnt read until now that the wraith was a catapult, I couldnt of thought of anything better. ( I would probably be puzzled for hours trying to launch tiny blocks >.<)

    Yeah I was trying my best to make it like fantasy medieval type of map and gameplay...besides the random turrets in the front of the castle and fusion coils it seems good close enough to what i was aiming for...i also forgot to mention that the fuel rod guns are meant as archer weapons...im gonna edit right now

    yeah this has been forged pretty well (apart from the wraith) but are the zombies supposed to wait for 45 seconds doing nothing? why cant they go straight away so the humans have to be really quick? also more zombie cover would be nice...
    good map tho

    Well i just might change it to where they humans have to be fast...that might make it even seeing as how they have no cover...

    You should also make a set of shield doors or something to protect the zombies' aircraft, otherwise the catapult would be too overpowering.
