I followed this effect I liked that I got from a tutorial.
I tried liquifying the image with a c4d, it really helps with flow.

Looks pretty nice, you did well following his tut.

I would suggest enhancing the lightsource, and toning down the orange to purple gradient map. Good work!

I didn't really follow the tutorial that much. I just chose the same render and liquified like he did. Everything else, I just experimented and messed around with.

I personally do not like the colors. But that's just me.
The flow is okay, but that C4D beside the left spartan's left arm kinda ruins the sig a little bit.

I agree with Rabbitt. The guys arm is like. . . . GONE. O_O He is armless!

Otherwise I like the sig, I don't like the fact that his arm is gone but I really do like the effects of the sig. 7/10 :D

    I give ratings :)

Well ya, its a distortion, its kind of meant to look like that. I'll mess with colors a bit more and see what I get.

    Dont...

I like the border, And the lighting, I like the tan colour on the bottom, maybe do a gradient map like that, because it doesnt fit the purple and red, i agree with Bunny when he was talking about the arm, thats the only major flaw I see. Flow is good. Maybe add a little more depth.

But dont get too tied up with the liquify filter, I love your smudging.
