This is a question for all forgehub users in college. I'm going to college this fall and plan on bringing my xbox 360 elite. Do I need to worry about locking it up or keeping it safe some how? Did any of you like put your games in a safe or anything? I'm going to a pretty nice college, but I realize that stealing happens everywhere. So just any real bits of advice or safety tips? I appreciate it, thanks!
Obviously you should lock it up dude. You're going to be around the people that are most likely to steal it, and even if they don't steal it they're idiots. They're most likely going to be intoxicated often and "Hey let's throw something out the window" can quickly turn into "Hey, let's throw an xbox out the window" if they see your box under the tv.
When you get done playing it, put it up in a closet or something? Unless you're scared someone is going to steal it. Then you should put it in a safe. That usually works.
No . 1. Buy a guard dog 2. Replace the dog tag with your Xbox 3. Pepper spray the dog repeatedly to make it mean and aggressive 4. ????? 5. Profit! Spoiler Yeah, the wardrobe thing will most likely work.
Buy a gun. Point it at your room mates and tell them that if they ever decide to touch your xbox without your permission, they are inviting you to shoot them in the ****ing face. That will get the point across.
What happens when they're drunk out of their minds? Be safe. As the old saying goes, better safe than sorry. (no pun intended) Go buy an affordable but not easy to crack safe. Once your done playing, put your Xbox/Games in there.
I think you guys are making too big of a deal outta this. I never had any problems with my xbox at college. Just lock your door, and you should be fine.
I like the way this guys thinks, if you could somehow combine both our plans that would be the way to go.
Holy ****, I've been cracking up since the word safe. I'm glad there's at least one non-dumbass on this site. (no offense) lol
Encase you didn't notice, most people that posted were suggesting extreme measures on purpose. As a joke. You know, sarcasm? Honestly, of course his xbox will most likely be fine.
It seemed to me that he was taking your advice seriously, so next time, be more blatant with your sarcasm since it is more difficult to convey tones in text.
Okay, I'll remember to throw a [/sarcasm] tag at the end next time I'm going to be sarcastic or make any kind of joke.
can your doors lock? My brother never had a problem at clemson, but they ended up playing the wii more than the xbox. You should consider getting a wii.
