    A pebble falls and rolls toward the ground below your feet. An explosion is heard in the distance, and the echo of bullets vibrate through the walls. The silence of this ancient underground civilization has been broken. The war has just begun.

    Lygo began as a simple remake of an old Foundry map of mine known as Lygophobia. Eventually, it blossomed into a whole new map when I made plenty of changes to the layout to better the gameplay. Lygophobia on Foundry had a linear type of design. You didn't have much routes and places to go. This proved to provide corrupt objective games, and sometimes stale slayer games. In Lygo, I took the design of the map into a different perspective. The design revolves around risk accompanied with reward, and playing it safe accompanied with a slower route to your objective.

    I started forging the map a week or so after the mythic map pack officially came out to marketplace, and I've been tweaking and testing for about a month or two now. It was a difficult forge as I was just getting used to Sandbox. I eventually ran into the object limit which ended up making me sacrifice a few aesthetic touches so I could support as much gametypes as I could. Even deleting a few things didn't get me enough objects to set up the map for every gametype. The map has been set up for....
    -Slayer
    -Team Slayer
    -Multi-Flag
    -One Flag
    -Team King
    -Crazy King

    It's only 3 gametypes, but, I perfected them to the most of my ability. They still might not be perfect, but their pretty damn near perfect. Team King has proved to be the best and most fun gametype in my opinion, if your wondering.

    Weapon List:
    -8 Battle Rifles (30 seconds, 1 spare clip)
    -2 Needlers (90 seconds)
    -2 Plasma Pistols (30 seconds)
    -4 Spikers (30 seconds)
    -6 Plasma Grenades (30 seconds)

    Power Weapons:
    -Rocket Launcher (150 seconds, 1 spare clip)
    -Sniper Rifle (150 seconds, 1 spare clip)
    -Shotgun (180 seconds, 0 spare clips)
    -Active Camo (180 seconds)
    -Overshield (180 seconds)

    Now, let me explain the Battle Rifles. 8 BRs is quite a lot, and theres a battle rifle spawn at almost every cluster of respawn points. But the catch is the 1 spare clip. Some people complain about running out of BR ammo when playing the map, but here's my reasoning: I don't want people to be so reliant on the Battle Rifle, I'm treating it sort of as a power weapon because it can be very effective on this map. Believe it or not, it really changes the way the map plays. It leads to more variation in gameplay. It's not going to be a game of everybody shooting each other with a BR, you'll have more things to consider and you'll have to find ways around the map.

    This looks pretty sweet, I have to say. Forging looks very clean and well done and I like your reasoning with the br placement and overall weapon choice. The only factor I can't decide on is the layout which I will have to test to determine whether or not it works.

    Great post aswell, had you included a video you would have deserved a 10/10 for the post. The map looks great and if you're ever playing some customs on it, send me an invite.

    Superior work my friend absolutely superior! My fav Crypt map and quite possibly my fav SB map in general. Objectives and KOTH were great and Slayer was amazing. Everyone should have this map on their HD's. 5/5

    Very nice, very nice. I remember seeing this in map preiviews, gotta say its very impressive. The whole place looks very nice and smooth, i still gotta learn how to geo-merge in the crypt like that, lol. Anyways very nice 10/10 got my download.

    Finally you've released it. Haha. I definitely love the map - and now that you've fixed OV room it is deserving of a higher rating than I would have originally given.

    Gameplay flows beautifully, and King is definitely the best gametype on this map. Climbing the fallen column is fun and interesting, and the map's layout is easy to traverse and contains depth that few other layouts manage to include.

    Great work on the map! I look forward to playing it again. And again. And again.

    Epic win sauce you included my video, thanks. I love this map, and the fact its a remake...well revamp makes it even better. We played this vs ForgeryAid and had a great time. I remember when you first started with that one center pillar, its come so far, many changes since the first testing runs.

    10/10 for me, great map, great gameplay, and epic sniping.

    Good map! The only problem I can see with it is that the BR is right next to the sniper in the weapon layout picture. Also, your BR's just seem to be lined up in a row along the back area. Maybe change placement of that. Otherwise, good map! 8*

    Wow. This is a great map with nice interlocking and design. I don't know why everyone is putting an overshield and an invisibility on the same map all of a sudden but I don't like it. Great job though.

    But i will admit that teamking was my favorite, i always did very good on teamking

    I remember when you first made this teaser with the center structure, and then added on threw.

    gameplay::
    Like i said i loved team king on this map, I also loved playing one flag those were the best supported gametypes IMO. The gameplay went fair and balanced for an asymetrical map. The last change in the weapon setup made it better and more fair.

    Athetics::
    I always loved the athestics here For the first 5 games i was here i was always asking you questions on how you did many things such as the ramp double box, (i always had trouble with that on sandbox) and how you did the tube merge and than justin would tell me "to stop talking about forge and just play the game!"

    Weapons::
    I liked the weapons the shotgun being out in the middle makes it being a risk to go there.
    The sniper tower was well forged but than changed to a rocket room, which made the gameplay a lot more fun. The sniper wasn't nearly as powerful now that it doesn't have its angels to shoot at the center and power the map.

    spawns::
    Umm i cant really remember any spawn fails, there's not much i can say, if im right though i think on the begining of testing there might have been some, im not 100% for sure on that though.

    I guess it kind of seems like the BRs are really close in that layout picture huh? The truth is, there not very close to each other at all in the map. People always complain about running out of BR ammo anyway, it shouldn't be a problem. There isn't a BR extremely close to the Sniper, and I don't know how that would effect gameplay at all anyway. Thanks for the comment though.

    To tell you the truth, earlier versions of this map had stale slayer gameplay. I needed something to spice it up, and it seemed that the overshields and camo did the trick along with a few geometry changes. Hope you like it.

    As much as I liked the first one I don't know if this new version captured the old feel of the regular lygophobia. Anyway though moving on to now this new version is great. The original needed an expansion and this is just what you have done.

    All the extra hallways, rooms and space available makes the gameplay great. All the parts of the map are used and the weapon layout is great. Nothings to over powering on the map.

    Great map/remake of your old map Evan12075, now its time to remake hyperborean lol jk.

    Great Map nice job with all the detailed areas, I just feel there are too many Power weapons, Although this is only an opinion.

    Really, all that's left on this map from Lygophobia is the aesthetic theme. The tower in the middle and the fallen tower, stuff like that. Lygophobia, although pretty fun at times, had huge design flaws, so like you said, all these additions and revamps were needed and turn it into a great map.

    Stay tuned for possible Mutable re-creation =O

    I don't know how you see this map as having too many power weapons... Considering most default bungie maps have very similar weapon layouts according to power equipment and weapons. I guess it is opinion like you said though. Please play the map though, then tell me what you think about the weapons.
