    Thanks for the awesome feedback. I don't really know how to respond without repeating myself from previous posts, but yeah thanks glad you like.

    I think these hills may be becoming somewhat of a trademark of mine, I think some variety is in order. This really isn't meant to be a Gradient V2 as people seem to be assuming... but its no bad thing I suppose.

    Also there seems to be quite a bit of bodily fluid flowing in the b.net thread, heh.

    Well the map isn't supposed to be about the tunnels, it was just something that would fit in with what I'd done so far so I tried it. I've not said there are more than one tunnel and the diagram shows only one... so it's kinda your own fault for it not meeting your expectations lol. I have been thinking about tunnels since tunnel rats though, something for a future release maybe.

    Very nice. I like the way game play flows. I've played several matches here and have yet to be spawn-dominated.

    Well when you were describing this to me I was thinking oh wow. It has a tunnel system. Next time just use it has a tunnel, not tunnels. Anyway it is very good but i believe there could've been a little more. Maybe some buildings or something. Anyway I know how hard that is but just wanted to throw that out there. Anyway 4.5/5.

    Thanks for the feedback nonetheless, I will have a stab at a little more in my next map.

    This is an hero of a map. It looks great, nice small Slayer map, well planned, and I dig the picture showing the weapons in the first post. I thought that Gradient was kinda meh, but I really like this one. Well done.

    You've got a definite talent for these types of maps, sir. One thing I want to give you tons of credit for that I don't believe people realize is that you purposefully make your maps off the ground so as to eliminate the excess materials used for keeping people from getting out of the map. Using the built in 'ceiling' is an outstanding idea and should be considered when/if you apply for Guilder. I honestly haven't seen anyone else do that and you deserve high praise for it.

    The map itself is an excellent small-scale map. I loved the team respawn areas on the main floor of Foundry (you add interesting touches) that go up into the map. This looks like it would be perfect for Oddball and KOTH. I can't wait to play them here. Excellent job, theMallet.

    I just want to start out by saying that i am a huge fan of all your maps and this is no exception. But my only grip are that your have to duck into those boxes to retrieve the regenerator and other equipment i find it slows the game down and in a map this small it almost impossible to get out unscathed. Was that your idea to balance the map out so someone couldn't just camp out the equipment areas. Never the less another amazing map keep up the good work.

    All I can say is WOW! This looks like a great map with TONS of time taken on interlocking. I also love the diagram you made of your own map, many don't take that much quality in thier posts. This is a definate download and makes me want to look at your other maps!

    Squidhands thanks. It does puzzle me why more people don't pick up on this. There are plenty of maps being made where almost none of the foundry floor is used and grenade jumping out the map is a problem, this solution doesn't really that that much more effort and works really well. Oh well their loss, heh.

    Vicsous Vice it really only takes a second to step into the box and retrieve the regen, it's not proven a problem in testing. Feel free to move it on top of the box or something though, you could even try lifting the box so you can stand in it if you wanted.

    Again Defiler, I made it pretty clear it is a small map, and that there is one tunnel. I'm open to criticism, but your problems are with what I intended to create. You wouldn't comment that an infection map wasn't good because you don't like infection would you?

    actually i wanted to ask how high up did u start your map a double a box or a couple of walls?? once im done with my current arena i plan on making a 1v1 map or as small

    People rating low because they feel like it and don't want to admit that someone made a great map.

    This map looks really good to me, I've seen some other maps by TheMallet that were very interesting before, so I'll be downloading this one when I get a chance.

    Very nice. You are wonderful at making interesting geometry. I have one question though. When making maps so close to the ceiling, do you start with the floor or the walls leading up to the invisible barrier?

    The star system is about as useless as b.nets is imo.

    I make the floor first, but I judge how high would be best before I start. Trying to fit the geometry around the walls would be impossible lol, I have an idea how I want the floor but I pretty much just let it fall into place as I go.

    Incredible use of interlocking and weapons placement. The heat-map was also a nice surprise. I look forward to the next one.
