Wow. Nice interlocking and gridlocking in your map. While I don't see why you would ever put an overshield and an invisibility on the same map, I love everything else. Why did you call this map R.I.P?
I only have one question. On the attackers base, it looks like you used an overabundance of fence walls. Honestly, it looks like overkill in my opinion. I'm very conservative when it comes to using supplies on a forge map and it just looks like a waste to me. Please, if I'm wrong or anything, tell me. That is the only thing that is bugging me. Other than that, I say this is definitely a well forged map for sure.
Holy -Blam!-! There is so much geomerging and interlocking. And the scariest part is that it is perfect and neatly placed for gameplay. And as a bonus it plays with any gametype? This has got to be the most amazing map I have seen. You have my DL! Also, ignore doors much?
It's been a while since I saw a foundry map like this. I miss the old days... Anyways: I like the choice of items used and holy crap! Thats alot of geomerging and interlocking. I love it!! You did great work on the stair carpet! How do you do that. I also like the idea of using an active camo AND an overshield. It just adds to the variety of the map! I think my favourite part would have to be the bases. Bases can be complicated. Sometimes TO complicated! You simplify it in a way so people arent' bored but and frusturated. 5/5 You good sir will become what I call a- Forge Legend
Never heard that one before. And this is one of the nicest foundry maps I've seen. I've always been a huge fan of geomerged doubleboxes as ramps. And you did that a ton, not to mention the geomerged fencebox which looks great. I'm positive this map will play well and you got a DL from me. The map deserves a feature. 5/5 Thank you.
[cough, bungie.net nub, cough cough] anyways i see some very good forging in this, some very defined geomerging, it looks good and it turned out very well, ill DL because it looks like its a suitable map for most gametypes, and will probably be a lot of fun to play. 4.5/5
I can't even express to you how unable I am to make a map like this. When Sandbox came out, foundry was gone in an instant without even a blaze of glory. But now I truly think that foundry can Rest In Peace. Anyone who wouldn't give this a 5/5 compared to other competitive maps deserves to be slapped upside the head.

THX...the invis and overshield have 3 min respawn, so gameplay isnt hurt by it..... why do i call it R.I.P? -- well when i think of R.I.P. i acsociate it with death.. why not have your map named after death THX..... well i just wanted it to have the yellow ring around the pillbox to complete the aesthetic feel to it.
Looks great and you have used geo-merging very well. Some very creative structures and a good layout. I would prefer a bigger range of weapons but I'm sure these work out fine.
i just didnt want to put to many weapons on his map i have like 16 weapons in all, i believe thats enough. I just dont want to overload the map
Very nice foundry map. I have been hoping for another of these high-quality, innovative foundry maps for a while and this is definitly a nice change from the Sandbox texture.
First off damn!! I havnt seen a foundry map this nicely merged ever. Is there a trick to getting it that nice or does it just take alot of time and patience? 2nd other than the merging it looks like a real good map, the gameplay looks solid and it looks pretty evened out. I think feature worthy and maybe even matchmaking worthy, I suggest submiting this to atlas for consideration. Definatly a 5/5
How did you make this in a week? Very impressive, but I'm quite worried that you rushing things may hurt gameplay, but there is only one way to find that out, right? I'll download and give it a test.
basically i stayed up all night forging usually about 5 - 10 hours a night. i was very tired by the time i was done with it. i would love to know what you think of game play.
I played some FFA on here, and there were a few problems we had. For one, that "pillbox" slows the gameplay down quite a bit. Not being able to jump or get out quickly means that it is a place that people will get stuck in. This slows down gameplay, which isn't really a good thing. You can get on top of the map in game as well, which could be a dominating place if used well. The geomerging is fantastic, but the level design does have its flaws. If you need me to, I can run through the map with you and give you my advice, just send me an invite on XBox Live sometime.
basically you have to be camping to even really be there anyway - (outpost) but if its really a problem i could just delete the sign on the back end that should free up quite a bit of space ...... but i already knew you could get on a couple structures but you are also open for attack by basically everyone no cover up there
You just posted that map a few days ago and now you made a V2 you should just update your old thread. But either way the map looks very nice 5/5
Wow your pics really bring out how hard you tried on this map, and that's incredible if you can judge that much from only the pictures. I haven't gotten a game on this or V1 yet because they both came out this week. So like Footballfan757 said, you should of updated the old post. One thing to change about your post is the pic "hallway right beside the fensive base", you should delete that pic and re-post it because it sets mine and probably other peoples computer screens off a little bit. I dunno if I explained that right...
Omg. My eyes burn from so much geomerging. O_O That's not necessarily a bad thing. I could NEVER geomerge to this extent, as I've always been quite bad at it. This map looks spectacular though, and it looks like it would play out great, with plenty of cover. That "pillbox" base looks quite interesting. You should post some action shots so we can get an idea of what some possible scenarios on this map could be. 4.75/5
