Some people say it's easier, I've tried it, and I can't get used to it. What do you guys think or use? Personally, I just use the Default.
Bumper Jumper took me about a week to get used too. It's really useful in BR battles, and I usually end up jumping EVERYWHERE I go.
I've tried it before. I can see how it could work a whole lot better and be a whole lot easier, but I haven't taken the time to try to get used to it and play with it. But Im sure players will improve immensely by taking the transaction.
I got used to Bumper Jumper, but I would rather stay with Boxer. I like being up-close and personal, cause no mercy is the Way of the Fist.
Same, took me about 3-4 days of constant playing. I find it alot easier to use and in Br fights its easier for me to win as to jump you have to take you thumb of the aimer when jumping while you can still aim and jump with bumper jumper. AND as Dow said you will find yourself jumping everyone. I do nothing but jump.
I play with Bumper Jumper. It took a while to get used to (running up to people and reloading in their face got annoying), but now I'm used to it I jump everywhere (like dow).
Bumper Jumper > Default It didn't even take me a full day to get used to it, the transaction was fairly easy.
I use Bumper Jumper. For me, I think it took a about 4-6 days to get used to it. I switched partly because the pros recommend it and they explain how it can help you improve. After that, I've been better ever since
took me a few days and as fish fingers sed reloading in peoples faces was quite anoying i still cant ride a banshee properly (banshee bomb isnt (B) )
Bumper Jumper is not guaranteed to improve your skill. It, like any other button layout, will only cause an improvement in your skill if the layout is better suited to your playstyle. If you find yourself constantly jumping then bumper jumper may be for you but if melees are more your thing then maybe you should try boxer. Finding the right layout will only enhance what skill is already there.
I think Bumper Jumper is even an upgrade from default for melees. The right bumper is just so easy to tap and you can still look and melee at the same time. With a lot of custom maps these days jumping is a necessity, and jumping around can save your life. So, I disagree with Shad0w, I think bumper jumper is the best layout. I don't think its as much that it'll increase your skill as it is give you an advantage against someone not using it.
I think bumper jumper is well worth the 3 or 4 days of getting use to. i use it and i cant be touched 1 v 1 brs
Well, When i first started i seen a kickass montage that said hold b to pick up, and i realized natu played it, and he was pretty good (At the time ) It had magical powers to make you better at the game, So i tryed it, it took about 5 games to get used to it, If you get into alot of br battles its a good layout, But you shouldnt do what i did and change it because someone else has it. ps; It isn't magic
What's a bumper jumper? It took me a while to get used too, but I did it by switching from default to Walkie Talkie to get used to the whole bumper = melee thing, then I switched to BJ, and it wasn't that hard.
with bumper jumper you can do the unthinkable. but seriously its really good . i use it to jump around noobs. also bumper jumper is better and will also give you better beatdowns cuz u dont have to let go of the right thumbstick or whatever its called that makes ur guy look around.
I love all the talk about Bumper Jumper making you all that much better of a player. I'm with Shadow 100% The reason I switched was because I jump a lot. It seemed the natural choice. I don't remember how long it took me to get used to it. Not much more than a week. Still can't use the Banshee correctly.
I think the real reason bumper jumper works well is because the jump and melee buttons are reachable without taking your fingers off of the joysticks. Allowing the player more mobility while maintaining their aim.
I got used to Bumper Jumper in about a day or two, and I enjoy it much more than any other control scheme.
lol it took me about 2 hours to get used to. In swat and br battles it helps a ton.the reason for this is because in default you have to move your finger off the joy-stick to hit A (jump), while in bumper jumper you can simply hit the left bumpr not having to move any fingers. So you can aim, jump, and shoot at the same time.
