Edifice Edifice is my second try at a Foundation remake. The first try was good, in my opinion, but making the walkway wider costed me too many items to create all 4 rooms. I made the walkway the size of all the other remakes here on Forge Hub, and now I have four rooms. I know we have a bunch of these, but that's no reason not to check this out. this is a pretty nice remake of foundation but ia see no point in anyone else making onebecause someone already made a pretty much perfect remake. but this map does have the same layout and nice merging. the one thing i would like someone to do for foundation is add in the one hive base the fan where you can grenade jump outside the map and run around on the roofs lol.
There's no such thing as a 'perfect'' remake. And there's no reason that Kronos shouldn't make one. It's like making any other map. There's already lots of good race track maps why post another one? This looks like a pretty solid remake imo. I like the aesthetics work that you've done especially the interlocking, are the weapons the same? It's a very clean remake, but other than the addition of 4 rooms and the change of roof your only changes from V1?
I redid all the rooms, and added the lights, as a replacement for 1, 2, 3 4. I made the outer walkway a bit skinnier as well, this allowed enough objects for a new rooms. In general, I fixed a couple minor things, nothing huge. I think you did realize this, but just to be sure: My old version only had 3 rooms.
