Not really in the mood for a battle, maybe later. Looks better but now it seems too dark in a lot of places.
Wow, this looks great, and L.A. Ink is an amazing show. I like this piece Lax, just the effects on the very left are a little out of place try to dim them down, other than that this is a great signature, I like the text too, just try to make it more visible.
Not really liking this one as much as your previous one. I find that this is too dark in a lot of spots and the colours are too soft in the bright areas, and the line on the left is really distracting and the text really doens't fit in with the theme, nice effects you have going on but give them more vibrancy.
Congratulations on the community spotlight Ice and Hells! My first attempt at making abstract sigs... thought I would try something new. Made entirely from scratch, C4Ds and all. If you guys could both CnC, that would be great
Something original eh? Looks nice, the one thing I would change is the gradient from red to blue, it seems too sudden. I like the version without text, but I like how you are experimenting more with it, the effects are pretty nice, give it that MW2 look (can't wait for game). Nice colours in here, just some effects could be more solid, and sharpen the guy a bit more.
Well I know it's late, but my latest sig was a stock so I just had to work with it. And congratulations on the spotlight you guys
Is this version better? I toned down a contrast layer I had added which made the transition more sudden. I also did this one without any contrast adjustment at all. Spoiler
The GIMP. Trying to get my C4D skills up to snuff. And no, the thing on her right shoulder is not her hand, it's her coat.
The version without any contrast adjustment looks better of the two. The signature seems too glowy for me, and the lines on the right of her are a bit too much, try to just keep them in the flow without having the entire side. I am not a fan of the monochrome colour, try using more than one colour, and add some text.
Hmm, I don't like how you have so many different effects going on and the light is just every where, try changing things up and stuff, keep one effect or keep both but even them out more, and the text could use some work.
A lot of the effects seem oversharpened, and the dull red of the guys hat sticks out a bit, make it full B&W, and the text seems out of place.
