Sandbox Aerial Combat

    This is my first time posting a map here.

    Aerial Combat, which is meant for Team Slayer, is a unique map located on the top level of Sandbox. The players engage each other in the skies over an epic ground engagement between the UNSC and the Covenant. Useing Banshees and Hornets, players fight to gain control of the sky. Both Human and Covenant bases have a turret and missile pod for AA defence while other teammates take off.

    Note: Both teams spawn on the middle level at the beginning of the round for some reason. Four transporters lead to both sides, two per base.

    So this is a battle taking place completely over the air? If it is.. what's to stop the enemy from landing on your side and spawn killing you?


    EDIT: On the UNSC side some of the vehicles don't even have the assault capabilities as the others. But on the Covenent side, all vehicles have same assault capabilities.

    Wait, let me get this straight...

    You filled the main level of Sandbox with vehicles and the sky bubble with air vehicles suspended on platforms and called it a map?

    Your creativity astounds me, but if this is your first map EVER, I'm willing to be leniant.

    Plus, this isn't even competitive. If anything, it's a casual map, due to the ridiculous amount of vehicles placed on the map.

    I don't see how you would fix it, theres nothing you could put there that would stop spawn killing. Although shield doors would keep enemy fire out, they would also keep your vehicles in.

    My advice, only play it with 6-12 friends and enfore the your power to kick if anyone spawn kills.

    If anyone does try to spawn kill they'll eventually run out of ammo. And yes MD, this is one of my first maps.

    Not really considering they could loot peoples dead bodies for mroe ammo, and also just crouch behind spawns and assassinate on spawn.

    What you could do is have each team have 2 bases, and to balance out the vehicles you could put 2 banshees and 2 normal hornets at each base with some transport hornets aswell ( I know this dosn't suit the theme but some people like Banshees over hornets and vice versa) just my thoughts
