I initially planned on debuting a new banner at the 50th edition but I realised that would be a long time away and because I don't like the current banner, I was very eager to get to work on a new one. Before I update the banner, I thought I'd get the opinions of some of the resident G&A'ers. Edit 1:
Very nice I personally like this one better. My only problem would be the purple shadows on the bottom of the SOTW blocks.
It's nice, but the shadowing is very poorly done. Try using the Drop Shadow feature under Blending Options. That feature creates very nice shadows and is much easier than trying to do it with a brush yourself.
I like this one way better then the original. Its time for change Just fix the shadows, they don't look right
I think its due time for a change, plus i like it. Maybe we could have a little GFX competitioon to get a really good one.... I suck at typography so i couldnt do it though...
Although I don't mind the idea, it's much easier for me if I make the banner. Being that I have the photoshop file and I know the exact steps for each images to go into the letters.
