If you are an aspiring machinima director who uses Windows Movie Maker, then this guide is for you. Usually when you try to upload a video to youtube that has been edited in Movie Maker, it will tell you that the .MSWMM file is an unplayable format. Instead using the old, outdated method of manually converting the file, which is very time consuming and frustraiting, you only need to do one very simple task that is overlooked greatly. The regular method is saving the project in the file menu, then manually converting it. Instead of doing that you simply have to navigate over to the "Publish To" section in the sidebar on the left-hand side and click "My Computer." The file will then be converted to a .flv file, a playable youtube format.
