Foundry MLG Voltage

    here is a link to the multiple pictures and a way to download the map voltage which is based off MLG gametype.

    Voltage is a map which is similar to other mlg maps with 2 bases for each team a side A and B which 2 important weapons spawns which one this map is the sniper rifle and the rocker launcher which are located on the 2 side bases of the map.

    Im sure this map isnt going to dissapoint so please try it out and tell me what you think.

    im sorry for the not very detailed report of the map.

    and id love to have some testers message me so we can play on the map and discuss some things i could do to fix it up.

    my GT is NSMONEY7 or atleast it is for now since its gay and im gonna change it

    Play your map in a custom game for 2 seconds then leave and go to theatre. Once your there make some screenshots from your map, the screenshots will automaticly upload to your bungie profile.

    After your done making screenshots go to Halo Screen Shots and type in your gamertag. This site will find your screenshots.

    Once your screenshots are found click on them and below every screenshots there are 3 links. The top one is for Forgehub.

    Movable items in MLG need to be locked down and unable to move with either a weapon holder or teleports. The most used technique is weapons holders because they are more discreet. The movable items I see that need this are the cinder blocks and the wire spools.

    I can also see from your screenshots that you took them from forge and from what I can see is only one respawn point. If you did take all your screenshots from forge you need to place more respawn points.

    You should of probably headed over to the Testers Guild section and had this tested before posting it to get some more hands on opinions and outlooks.

    Well now that you have your pics working i can tell you about the map. It needs alot of work! For an MLG its notthe best sorry to say. The bases i think need alot more work and there should be alot more cover. Some merging also could help smoothen out gameplay...

    I'm disappointed. very random, horrible flow and very choppy. The forging may be ok, the map may look neat but i can beat you forged as you went and did not have a layout or an idea. The map looks thrown together, unbalanced, and honestly just looks kinda cool that's it. I mean you have to consider the gameplay on this. map might make an ok competitive map but is nowhere near an MLG map.

    oh yes thats true i need to lock those down and no theyre not from forge so there are a pretty good ammount of spawn points. oh i will head over to the testers guild for them to try it out. its my first map that ive put some time into so i was looking to see how i did.

    you see the reason the map probally is "choppy" and has a bad flow is because i am not an experienced map maker. i was hoping that from this site i could get some people to help me make the map better and to help me out with forging. im sure over time i can get much better at map building. btw the theme of the map was MLG it wasnt like i wanted this on the MLG playlist. notice there are no AR's and were using only MLG weapons.

    I think it has too much pace on the ground. Foundry MLG maps don't play they're best when there's too much ground space.
