I did that too, but in Slayer , once you notice what the layout of the map is like, it's really cool though. CTF is really annoying though, because someone with the flag or bomb could fall in a pit, then it gets stuck and you have to wait for it to reset. Team Slayer/Slayer are the best for this map.

this map is currently in me and my group of friends daily rotation. my personal favorite touch is throwing the drainer down the incline and a grenade... best killtacular ever the fusion coils in the pit room (as i call it) definitely helped too. All i can remember was everyone saying how the hell that happened.
I absolutely love this map. Anyone who's on the fence about downloading it, just do it. You'll enjoy it.

Well it looks like this is going to have a mini-comeback whether I like it or not then lol. I'm surprised this is remembered really, glad you enjoy it still. Anyone else, feel free to check out Empire cause that where I'm wanting the focus really - Gulf Chronicle has had it's fair share of the lime light as far as I'm concerned.
i just did a forge through and i have to say... this is now my favorite map and i havent even played a real game on it i will soon though dont worry i love the way you have the pits set up, along with all the other layout of the map. my only complaint would be to add a way from the middle level up to the oversheild, that way it would be really easy to manuver to all parts of the level. but overall, a 30 out of 10 not bad :squirrel_giggle:
Actually Mallet, the funny thing is I think this is the only map of yours I haven't checked out. I know I have seen all of the maps in your sig, and unless there is more maps hiding somewhere then this will be the last one.
Checked out? Perhaps, but commented? I think not mister. Maps hiding somewhere? Perhaps, but not ones worthy of releasing. I still have Long Way Down on my fileshare which isn't that amazing.
Me, insane G043R, and another guy just played some classic slayer on this map, it was very nice. The elevated location was a real control point, although he couldn't really ever camp anything. I am eager to playing some objectives on this map in the near future. I'm making a not here, Huge Success.

I did not like this map when i played it on, i hate how you spawn in this one area, and then you would go to jump on the platform above the pit, only to have the celing screw you over, and fall in to to pit. I also dont like death pit maps in general. you cant win them all i Guess.
