Map Title: The Spine 2-4 players Works best with Team Slayer, FFA, one bomb, one flag. Supports all gametypes. Download 'The Spine' Description: The Spine plays great for 1v1 and 2v2. It is a small level featuring one team usually spawn on top of the 'hill', and the other spawning at the bottom. there is three different ways to the other side all with there own advantages/ disadvantages. There is a round about, slower but safer way around the 'hill' on each side. There is a quicker straighter path leading under the hill but you have to crawl(crouch). And there is the most dangerous path through the center which of course is the fastest. Weapons: 1 Rocket Launcher 1 Sniper 1 Mauler 2 Battle Rifles 2 Plasma Rifles 2 Assault Rifles 2 Plasma Grenades 2 Fragmentation Grenades 2 Spike Grenades Utilizes spawn areas and is impossible to get out. The map looks very organized and neat but I have one question. (I promise to download later) The map seems a little too cramped for a rocket launcher. Will I be blowing myself up all the time?
Your interlocking looks good, and from what I can see, your layout looks fun too. You may want to add more pictures from different angles though. I'm still having difficulty trying to figure out how your map flows. I'll definitely check this one out. And I agree that a rocket launcher may be too powerful here, even if it only has 2 shots. A brute shot may be a good replacement, maybe.
Dude, I loved this map from the start. I really enjoyed helping you out, and I'm glad you expanded the bottom. The mauler area is so sweet, it plays very well too.
that fence wall is very creative and nice weapon placement for the rockets. i like (there should b some like borat indicator)
What WhiteLime thinks I like the look of the map and i'm a big fan of small 1v1 maps, i also think that the rockets should be alright by the look of the map mostly when you shoot them you will be damaging yourself in the smaller spaces and in the middle it probarly won't be a 1 shot kill. I like that you have added a sniper into a small level so only the skilled will be able to pull off a headshot (or the lucky) I like the look of your spine in the level and that you have used underneath it aswell.
It looks nicely put together. But the shape doesnt look very practical to me. Also what is in the large space next to it? If its left empty it would degrade the map. I like how you merged things on angles though, that is something that isnt done much here.
Yeah the rockets work pretty good, they respawn every 150 seconds, and only have two rockets. I like having a sniper on every map because without one it really brings down the needed skill level to control the map.
This is a FACT This map is awesome.. I played it and the rockets work perfectly and a slyer game runs very smoothly in it. The map has some perfect interlocking and I suggest that everyone should download it. I give it 10/10
