    Welcome to Candy Mountain, a place of sweet and sugary goodness for all your cavity needs.

    This idea started a long time ago with trying to get a standard gametype idea for KOTH. My idea, which I called "Centerfold", was to have a hill that constantly changes sizes around a central area and only giving points for the time when only your team is in the hill (uncontested) forcing players to alter their strategies on the go but overall pushing the fight towards the center at all times. An attempt to get this gametype to work with a map Ellement made a while ago never actually went through.

    After hanging out with sharp he showed us a map that he built a random structure on. Half a hill of multiple levels with ramps leading up the levels. And I thought this would be perfect. I asked him if he would be willing to remake the structure on sandbox in a full circle and he said ok. I went off and did my own thing only to get a msg about 2.5 hours later saying he was almost done with the map. I entered and gave my suggestions and this is what we ended up with after Sharp started 4 hours before that point:

    The gameplay on this map is pretty much what I had come up with in the beginning when I thought of "Centerfold".The hill starts covering the center platform at it's smallest size. Over time the hill resizes randomly every 15 secs to cover the next two levels respectively. And it is a fight to keep the hill free of enemies to earn points uncontested. Here are the size of the hills:

    The openness and narrowness of the center platform makes it a hard place to stay and forces players to move away from it outwards as the hill size changes making players constantly move from level to level keeping gameplay interesting. Each player carries a shotgun and a magnum w/grenades as their weaponry. They have no shields and 200% dam resist to avoid being killed by a shotgun from a distance. Magnums are a long ranged choice for headshots.

    Other than that the map is also built for OVERBOARD! Which also turns out to be quite fun... so have at it folks and enjoy... here are some action shots:

    To explain overboard, it is a slayer game where sticks are worth 1 point, kills-1, killing sprees loose points, and sticking the leader is +2. You also have grenade regen.

    Looks good. Perfect symetry. The only problem I see is with the smallest territory. Looks like it would be hard, if not impossible, to fight and stay on that. Seems like it would be all run 'n gun because there is nearly no cover. I give it a 4/5 because of the sense of just a run 'n gun type map along with the last territory.

    .... not competitive.... just throwing that out there. the smallest territory isn't hard to stay on at all and the map has no cover except at the spawn. Try Dling it and find out.

    This looks fantastic. This possibly could've been in competetive maps though, since its really using basic crazy king. (As far as I can tell anyways) But I'm downloading it cause it looks like a bunch of fun.


    Also, the run n' gun gameplay seems to be the point. As for the smallest territory, its supposed to be hard I think. The entire point is about changing your strategy when the hill changes.

    Does the middle of the hill look like a giant ***** on purpose or was that an accident?

    I noticed that one too, and I'm hoping it was an accident. I looked over it though, cause it doesn't really work into the gameplay. Lol.

    Pervert, that definitely wasn't intended, but the map does look pretty good. It looks like a creative idea with the larger and smaller circles. The aesthetics could be slightly improved. I see some areas of ground that aren't very circular and are off a lot, but that probably won't affect gameplay that much.

    It is a minigame because it is not compatible with any normal gametype. And no the gametype is specified. and yes the idea of the game is that you only get points when nobody is in the hill but your team. SO as the hill gets bigger it gets harder to clear out the other team.
    good catch. no it was a completely honest mistake but yeah.... its a ****ing *****.

    Well from what i see this map is really detailed and looks pretty sweet. That video made me laugh lol. The forging and neatness of the bridge is great and cool bridge.

    Looks good from what i can see, but i can't really see the map because of that thing in the way in the last picture. What is that called again?

    Orcish jokes aside, what is "overboard"?

    Hahaha. I lol'd at the last picture. You can't post a map without a picture of a guy having recon playing it.

    Serious note though, if you have a party going on playing this, invite me. None of my friends ever go on anymore.

    The game plays good with the circular hills that change size around the middle structure. The centerpiece could have been edited alittle so it doesn't look like a mans snake [don't tell me no one else thought that.] lol. Soo good gametype but the map made me lol when I looked up ;].

    "charlie charlie charlie where on a bridge charlie" i love charlie the unicorn.

    The map looks really well made i like how you madxe it like a mountain the interlocking is flawless and the whole map looks really fun i would dl but i have RROD so i cant but great map none the less. I love how the hill changes size the design is awesome and the gametype is really creative i love the whole idea begind the map 5/5.

    wow, good name (i didn't mean that sarcastically.) What you should do is since you have the teams red and blue, like the blue unicorn and the reddish pink one. You should make anyone in the hill white, like charlie. So the kidney thieves are trying to get charlie off of the mountain. Also maybe you should add a cave, that the bottom floors missing, then make a shaft that leads to the sky bubbles base. Put teleporters there that make you fall down the crypt hole. Then when your reach the bottom. You could put like a monster our kidney our something. And some kill balls
