Pretty much. IF you play against them. Remember, there are going to be a ton of people playing in that one playlist and your chances of getting paired up with the Bungie team is very slim. I wouldn't count on it, but yes, win one game and you get Recon.
I wish I had known about this when he was still looking into maps... I could have thrown a few of mine into the gauntlet to be considered. Ah well.... I will definitely be playing on the 7th!
Actually I got a temp-ban for exp boosting and a few months later they titled me "Honorable Member" on their forums, so Im guessing tey overlooked that. I hope I'm not disqualified from Recon. How will you know if your playing against a Bungie Team? Also i have no gold-membership, I guess I'll just play Maplestory some more, lol.
im guessing that not many people will be getting recon because: 1st-you have to get lucky enough to be paired with the bungie staff(there wont be that many im sure) 2nd-you have to win against them.(im pretty sure that they work for bungie and play halo alot more than 95% of the population)
The number of Recon wielders will llikely double on Bungie day, or at least come close to it. Hundreds will win Recon.
But I'm sure Bungie folks will have studied up on these maps prior to that day, so they might have an advantage the first few hours before people begin catching on.
Can someone link me to where it says about getting banned you get no Recon? And not every Bungie employee uses the fire, so dont answer me like that again.
ill obviously throw my name into the hat a few times while theyre doing it, but pairing up with them will be a pain in the ass.
This is one of the rules for the latest recon contest. Not for Bungie day, but a different one. I think the same rules still apply though
Well it looks like the number of people who have Recom end up getting doubled. Bungie however has the advantage of being familiar with the maps. I might even stay up all night and join some random people and at least attempt at recon. In well it should be fun, that's if I even make it on...
Pretty much every contest that Bungie holds specifically says that " Cheaters and boosters shall not apply." Theyve also mentioned consistently that anyone banned from either the forums or MM isn't able to get Recon. Also, getting Honorable member just shows that you've been in the forums for a while, it's automatic. No need to be offensive, he was making a general statement, and I'm sure that all Bungie employees will wear their flame recon on the Seventh.
