Ah, yes, ODST discussion time yet gain! Is playing dare really going to be worth it? Just think you have to beat a level that I assume is already very though of legendary, and since your not a Spartan, you can assume it will be hard enough as is (I'm taking these from the H3 game, ignoring the fact that the game is changed to point that better suits and ODST) easy = normal (difficulty choice wise) normal = heroic Heroic = Legendary Legendary = Mythic and Mythic (anyone who tries this on ODST is an idiot, no offense, but there is no hope!) Mythic = all enemys become scarabs that always know where you are and those scarabs have jackal snipers the never miss, and are hackers, and Hunters whos fuel rod cannons become Splasers, that go through walls! the first grount minor will one shot you with a plasma pistol even tough you are at full health and somehow have a 4x overshield, and a splaser! anyways.....I cant wait to waste my life getting achevments (I really can't wait, I have nothing better to do in the meantime, cept maybe actually see a what outside looks like with my own eyes....naaah) I just hope there are plenty of place to screw around in, like places to trick jump or exploit a glitch or betray my teamates in a hilarious manor of doing it (grunt cannon anyone?) (confetti gun?) (pushing them off a cliff?) or maybe just find the skulls and then subsequently beating up grunts with my new pal wilson (not a vollyball) I don't want to kill the enginners (if they are the alien kind) I want to jump on them and ride them, while rickrolling the brutes....I'm so bored XD, still, I really want some cool easter eggs, or the ability to turn off assassination or get in the back of troop transport hogs, sinse I'm a regular human, whats the problem? BTW how will melees work out? can we assassinate brutes or grunts without to much noise? Just curious because no-one has said anything about it and sinse your not a spartan weeeeeeell..... or will melees just serve to make brutes stop what there doing and get angry (like in halo 3) oh yeah, and will the glitch that lowers your gun be in the ODST campaign? imagine RvB in ODST or other machinima taking place in it, or it firefight, Johnson with a white guys voice, oh the inhumanity!
GoW had about 41 I believe collectibles, hopefully the most that ODST will have is probably something under 50. Im hoping somewhere around 30 though. If it was crackdown all over again, I probably wouldn`t even bother with the achievment
or if it has alot, can it be reletivly easy to find? what are the audie clips about anyways? do they do something story wise thats important or is it just like th e black boxes in halo wars, that just key you in on info you may or may not have already know, only in this case, its more likly that you don't know. can I find other non-player ODST in a non flashback point-of-view? is the entire squad most likly dead? (as I get the feeling your (and/or you co-op buddies) the only ODST still alive because of the SIs calculation of survival) But honestly how will the melee work out in campaign? will it be like a quick stun, or a valuable killing tool? BTW I don't think there will be energy swords in the campaign, maybe grav hammers but I doubt you can use them, at least there won't be regens or bubble shields then enemy will use when you were just about to kill them off and are all like "WTF dat ma k1ll lololololol" still, I'll miss the regen for my own use, or the bubble shield, and the invincibility (it was a big FU to the brutes! same with camo I can use at the moment of my choosing, why wasn't that in multiplayer? would have helped in custom games!) but at least we have the VISR, if only instead, it shot out lasers from your eyes! I wonder what kind of cars we can drive in the campaign! I want a scorpian, and then there will be no survivors..........!
Same vehicles as Halo 3, nothing new added from what we know, and I doubt bungie will throw in a new vehicle and not tell us by now. I doubt ODST can hijack other vehicles though, which will definitely limit our arsenal.
I think someone noticed a small blurb in a pic and there is one confirmed new covenant vehicle I think... Gotta find where that was.
I was aware of there being no new vehicles, just wondered which ones will would be in the campaign, and are usuable, (without glitches) unlike the AA wraith, or with some exceptions, the scarab (its a glich were you are the only one on the scarab, every covie is dead, and the scarab tries to go after you while your on it) I wanna see people not realizing there not spartans (or at least as tough as one) try to kill enemy all spartan style (however it, the campaign may play similar to the more tough H3 levels, where one shot will practically kill you, forcing you to adopt hit and run tactics, so you don't get hurt, that'll prolly be how the ODST campaign will be like)
No, it has been confirmed by Bungie that you can hijack vehicles, although I think they said there were some limitations on certain campaign missions I believe.
i cant wait for odst. i know the guy who made the video of the achievements and i know how to do it its easy he has all the achievements on live but not the game
possibly because they are going to add in a new play style or game mode. And if thats the case and if i were bungie i would want the people who are going to buy my game to test out the gameplay and see if they like. Rather than have the normal bungie worker to just play it and say "yeah it plays well".
Well, for the most part, we can only guess, or just assume stuff based on possibly false/innacurate data. It'll be all kinda like the new maps, everyone makes a big deal out of it, like with mythic, and then after it out, everybody is all like, next... and then we'll want more and more stuff for no real reason. just like the robot chicken "If you give a mouse a cookie" scenario. anyways, I'd rather not start jumping to conclusion on DLC for games that aren't even out yet so...Although I have always wondered why when I shoot a grunt in H3, with an AR or SMG in the head point blacnk, he doesn't die. Oh well, after I beat the game, I'll be causing shenanigans and running around New Mombasa, messing with everything!

muhahahhahahhahhahahha! I did that once...only, with perfume, nvm. I would love to do that, but it would more likly (if by some miracle, it did exist) be like the skull on storm, where you have to have beat the game, and have to do something in which you would have to know what your doing specificly just to get the spray can, doing something most players would never in there right minds do when playing normally, but then again, hackers would probably find it first, and ruin or exploration, but save us the year of trying to find it, I wonder if there will hippos the the fallen shotgun shells in Reach, just like in Halo:CE. Although I doubt we will ever see the MCs face (Some think it maght be seen in Reach) unless Bungie does it as a "Farewell Halo" thing, I was personally surprised that they are actually makeing Reach, Nor do I think we will fly a pelican, but it is possible we can or will have 0 G combat (fight in space with no gravity) as that happend in The Fall Of Reach, the MC blew up something (it was a covie ship) and also Johnsons gonna be back The MC rescued Johnson right before he left on the POA (Pillar of Autumn) so it'll be more like a shortish cameo, that is, if we actually get to that part, or ever get to fight in space, and are playing as Spartan blue team or well, as Spartan 117 and linda, as they are the only spartans (maybe another spartan, just for the game) who are still on the team and in space at that point and general location, still its a hope, I still wanna see what the ol' blue team looks like (even though are are green) and especially want to see same 0 G combat! even shot and hit sends you flying so that fact alone gives me some doubts about bungie adding it to the game, hmmm orbital without gravity....

Also, nade hopping is not recommended, don't try it, uless you want to...I bet the aliens are going to be far more intimidating because they are all going to appear larger, like the brute will look down on you, and the grunts will be almost half your size! And don't get me started on the size of hunters! Does this mean I can no longer speed run the campaign by running past everyone and meleeing the ones that get too close? I bet the melee will only be a short stun or knockback type thing though.
Hey does the full mythic map pack including the current mythic maps come free with odst? if not i might as well buy the maps now or until theyre required.
ODST comes with all the current DLC maps (heroic, legendary, Cold storage, and first part of mythic) plus the three new mythic maps. So in your case, if you are going to buy ODST, I would just wait on that and not waste money now on mythic. Unless you realllllly want to. I mean the mythic maps ARE great. So really, idk. It's your call.
