This looks like it easily deserves a feature and in my eyes, its got to be one of the best maps on the site IMO, Thanks for the time machine
It was easy to tell if Blockout with be in the front page or not. This map is simply the most accurate Lockout remake out there. Congrats on the feature!
I find it incredibly dumb that someone would make a remake of a remake..... Blackout is fine, the only thing that it doesnt have is a window in the middle and a snow theme.... Other than that, the two maps are identical.... I dont understand why it isnt good enough for most people.... Whatever, Blockout is very fun and well forged even if the reason for its existence is completely pointless.

I really liked the actual construction and forging in this map, but for me, it lagged like a ***** when I had more than 6 people in the party. I got that glitch where everything keeps flashing lighter colors. That's a result of the Budget Glitch, right?
I seriously don't know why this was featured. It's a stolen map basically. The only thing good for it would be the fact that you can get on top of the bases.
There are many who would disagree with you, people who disliked the subtle changes made from Lockout to Blackout quite a lot. Remaking Lockout, which was made in an entirely free form design environment, within the massive constraints of Forge shows talent and a good mind for the system. But it also takes a highly design conscious approach to achieve as close a possible replication of the original Lockout with limited materials, considering how much the small changes in Blackout were nitpicked by some, refining the LOS to replicate the original as closely as possible is something worth celebrating. Also: 'stolen'? Honestly? If you take exception to remakes then whatever, but the malicious connotations of theft within the context of FH is a harsh thing to put upon this map, and quite frankly makes no sense. Also, it plays very well, thus it is a good map in my eyes, I can see exactly why it was featured.
I would never agree with this, not even out of random spite over the fact that I never had anything against Blackout and always saw this remake as unnecessary. But that was just my opinion, and after playing this map through I realised the differences between Blackout and Lockout were so much more than a new window and no more roof. This is an excellent remake which is very well forged and considering your contributions to the site are somewhat non-existant I think you should keep your mouth shut.
wow dude, this took a loong time to get featured. i think i dl'd it over a month ago that's how old it is. regardless, this map is really clean and supurbly forged. you did everything right, with almost no cut corners, which is really hard when making a remake. if i'm not mistaken, you used every single object in the budget to make this map, which makes it even more impressive. congradulations on the feature, you definitely deserve it
I dont understand the difference between Lockout and Blackout. But I suppose it is really accurate. So Good job.
This map definitely deserved to be featured. I haven't tested this map with people yet, but it sure does look like a very accurate remake of lockout. Incredible Job, and congratulations on the feature.
Yes it was. Otherwise there would have been no way for it to be anywhere near as accurate as it is. And even now with more pieces I could make it even better, but it's already hurting peoples framerates. I'm going to remove unnecessary blocks and adjusting the lighting, should make for a smoother play on splitscreen (I hope). Removing objects will hurt the breakability (host-barrel jumping is an issue) but I'm trying to think of better ways of stopping it that uses less pieces.
I liked this map at first glanced but realized that a lot of lines of site were still off. Definitely a good attempt at a Lockout remake, no question that it is more true to Lockout then blackout.
Great map, Congrats! Very similar to Lockout and it's nice that all of the jumps are the same as Lockout. This should deffinitly take Blackouts spot in matchmaking and be put in MLG
