This is my first Competitive map on Sandbox. The design is based on a map that I made on Foundry. Which was my first "serious" competitive map. Since then, I have made tons of improvements to the game play, including making the map less top dominant I also refined the middle. The original map had a very open middle with a kind of "Death Pit" where an OP ghost was located. In this map, there is a whole new death pit, one in the center of the map, and two on each side.

The sniper rifle's locations were changed along with the mauler's location. The ramps have mostly been shortened to create a faster paced game. The map includes two shield doors in the top area to expose people who wish to camp on the top. A well placed plasma can eliminate the threat. The shield doors main purpose is to prevent the majority of the top area from firing out. If you try to peek out of the shield doors, you will fall! This means that you can't fire out, then come back in and repeat! So now, here are the...

    Weapons:

    x6 Battle Rifles/45 seconds/3 clips
    x2 Sniper Rifles/180 seconds/2 clips
    x2 Maulers/150 seconds/1 clip

    Equipment:

    x1 Overshield/150 seconds
    x1 Active Camo/150 seconds
    x6 Plasmas/10 seconds
    x4 Fragmentation Grenades/10 seconds
    x1 Bubble Shields/ 180 seconds

Now for pictures. I included the original design of the map that I made in Foundry. It wasn't very pretty and doesn't compare close to the improved version. Without further ado, here are the pictures...

Map looks pretty darn good. The forging and neatness of the map is good. Im not to sure how good the original was... Although this one keeps me happy. Olny thing i would have liked was an overview of the entire map to get a full feel of it.

You didn't need to rebuild a map on another. Some people dont have the sandbox map because they are poor, so you shouldve just left it alone. 2/5

I did not rebuild the map, did you not read the fine print? The original foundry map was breakable anyway and foundry lacks killballs and other wonderful things featured exclusively on Sandbox. The map plays a lot differently than the original. Pehaps you are being too rash or are lazy and poorly informed. Either way, I spent 25 hours working on this map so therefore your unconstructive criticism will be ignored.

Thanks, but the shield doors are to prevent people from picking up the BR or sniper and camping in the mid. The idea behind the Shield doors is to prevent people from shooting out around the whole area and to prevent the height advantage. People aren't safe there...Trust me! Anyways, thanks for the comment. I thought my 25 hours of work would die with 10 downloads or so....
