Me too, I think it'd be safer to wear a helmet during a game mode where you're trying to survive? I wonder if we would have gotten the full 1000G for ODST if it was cheaper than the the full 60$ like bungie had first intended... probably not. FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Personally, i have no problem with H3:ODSTs price, and info of Halo reach? you can get a whole lot of it by reading The Fall of Reach (like dyn that the MC rescued stg Johnson from an orbital platform right before leaving with the POA?") i have made educated (really.....for halo....) guesses on most of the stuff, but i have a question, when you start firefight, do you get to signal when it will start (like L4D survival mode) or will you have no time at all to prepare? i ask this for the sake of machinima! finnaly a guy with a face 4 H3 machinima!
But how can you be so sure about the reach story(I've already read Reach)? Just because of the name, doesn't mean it'll be ALL about reach, now does it? Maybe it'll actually have little to do with the book.
I think that is one of the best "Get Real" answers ever! Its a game, if bungie wanted to, they could make halo reach into a first person mario, you use you suits weight to Stop Alienz!!!!!1. But really, how many times do we find ourselves being to literal about games? in the end, I'm sure bungie will make ODST and Reach beyond awsome games like they did with halo 1-3. I don't see me buying this half assed **** now that it is 60$. Adding up ALL of fallout 3's DLC, that is 50$, which is longer and more features TLAD is 20$ with a new campaign, more than 2 weapons, and new MP modes Now ODST has 6-12 hour long campaign with 2 new weapons, I would pay 10-15$ Firefight, which also looks like a 10-15$ price tag No new multiplayer but 3 maps. The 3 new maps obviously is 10$ So if ODST was 30-45$ then I would buy it. I can't fork over money for everything, can't get a job because of the rough economy in my town, and I play sports the entire school year. My parents would give me 30$ but 60$ is a no. I hope to see this fail, no, I WILL see this fail as a full priced game.
Or you could see it this way: Campaign: $20 Firefight: $20 Maps: $10 Reach beta: $10 Of course, I am a Campaign lover, so I put more value on that aspect of ODST.
ODST won't fail. It's halo, it's got reach beta, it's got new maps and it's got Firefight. You are nuts if you think this will "Fail". People bought Halowars alone for the mythic maps. Plus the campaign is an entire new experience, it's not just four more levels of halo3. Stop complaining if you don't want it don't get it.
Fail as in retrospect of a halo fan - Expecting a high quality game for a fair price. Now Halo is like the CoD franchise. This is a full priced game with not alot of things new. halo 1 - 2, Online, duel weilding, vehicle jacking, more new weapons and vehicles, and alot more halo 2 - 3, Forge, thearter, online co op, don't have to explain more because we already have this game and bungie is trying to re sell it to us ODST is just firefight, which is great, I would buy that if the package was 30-45$, but it's 60$
Then don't buy the game. I honestly don't think that there is a single person here that cares that you think the game should be 15$ cheaper.
I wont, I was stating my opinion on this forum, and the point of a forum isn't saying "I'm blindly going to buy a expansion for 60$", it's to discuss about it. And I don't care that you don't care, you don't speak on behalf of FH, and neither do I.
