Hey, I just need a new game. I've been playing Mabinogi for awhile and perfect world and like the playing styles, but I really want to use a 2h sword. If anyone has a good free one, with good graphics, that they recommend I would love to hear it. Also can discuss them or w/e. Thanks, Clouded.
A GOOD free one? Geez, that's tough. All the good ones cost money. Have you tried MapleStory yet? It's pretty decent for a free MMO, if you can put up with all the grinding, swearing, and little children. It's 2D if that helps (or hurts.)
well if you play mabinogi you must know about maplestory. WELCOME TO MapleStory Notes-Maplestory is a 2-D side scrolling MMORPG Free 2 play Not noob friendly, its terribly boring until you hit maybe lvl 30,this game has an extremely heavy grind, unless you have a friend in-game to help ya you will have a tough time getting money items, and general knowledge. This game has been know for being very addicting, with stories ranging from real life murders for rare items, and real-lfe divorsces for account stealing. also-the game is very social and fun to just chat in via text bar and public speech bubbles screenie-note im not in the shot if you decide to play make sure to create your character in the Bera server
You should check out Illutia.com. I have a level 37, 20, and 14. It is very fun, and the graphics are unique. =)
I had a runescape phase at one point, me and three of my other friends played it religously, once I got to a lvl 70 and it took forever to grind and raise stats. The adventure part of runescape was over and I didn't feel like grinding ridiculously for a few more quests, I would still reccomend it to somebody who hasn't given it a try. Also Perfect World and Maplestory are good to but I never played it with friends and I think thats why I didn't like them. Oh yeah, the swear filters can go die. Also I know it's a long ways off from a mmorpg but line rider is a pretty fun alternative to computer gaming, just watch a few tutorials and you'll see some stuff is pretty hard to do and challenging. What else... I think I saw something about a pokemon mmorpg might wanna look into that.
Dude a liiiittle OT but i cant wait for the lego mmo. probably no subscription needed since its based off a mainly childrens "creative toy"
Well if you are looking for one without monthly fees I'd try out Guild Wars. It was pretty fun for what it was, I forget how much it costs something around $60, but after that nothing, unless you get expansions etc.
Got all three, beaten all of them. I've played a lot of mainstream stuff w/o a subscription and even some with. Just looking for something new, fun, good gfx, ad big 2h swords.
I hear WoW is good, but also addicting, and that costs money. Here's a link that you have probably seen before. List of massively multiplayer online role-playing games - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia OT, level 100? Daaammmnnnn
World of Warcraft FTW! Runescape, and Maple blow...But there is a decent free MMORPG out there called Silkroad, I advise checking it out if your really poor... I also played Gaia at one point, hands down the most retarted thing I have ever done, *bump*.
I wanted to play silkroad so I downloaded it and found out my computer was to shitty to run it, then I deleted it. Later I updated my graphics card and re-downloaded it. Still didn't work, sadfaic. I would try a WoW private server like that guy said, it's probably not legal but whatever, stick-it-to-the-man amiright? And wtf is Gaia, googling begin. Edit: OMG how could you play that game, I looked at the frontpage and took off in fear.
Meh, If i played wow I would want a normal server. All my friends at school who play are level 70 or 80 w/e the highest is.
I'm not sure how relaiable this source is but here's a link in the right direction. Edit: removed link as I am not sure if I could get banned for it. Just google WoW private servers. Edit2: One step ahead of you Jimbo, thx anyway
