why is that an oh my? they were in halo 3... but i wanna know is why in halo 2 all the brutes were basicly naked running around with a brute shot while in ODST they all of a sudden get the armor in halo 3
The armory is outside of the hallways where you spawn. No you cant camp it, if you do, then you wont be able to kill the incoming enemies. And why would you let them swarm you? Plus, the armory mainly has SMGs and pistols. Once you start passing rounds the Rockets spawn in the Armory because of the harder enemies that start getting dropped off. Hunters, more brutes, those brutes with the grav hammer, ect. From what I observed, the Sniper is always on the map, but you have to go aout and find it. I didn't find it on the level I played, but I know where it is on the Dark level. The rockets only spawned when we completed a few rounds and has one spare clip. Ammo was located to the lower grounds where there were more enemies. EDIT: holy f***in sh**! Just read the Bnet update right now. No, I'm just saying that I'm surprised they would put them in firefight. I can imagine it being fairly brutal when you have invisble brutes sorrounding you, with flamers and the catch skull on. You won't see them, and their grenades are gonna destroy. I really don't know why they would change it... maybe it's because the brutes that were at Delta Halo didn't have the new armor? And the ones that have just arrived on Earth are now equiped.. Just a guess I know it's probably wrong though.

...everything, really. Halo makes sense! How can you not understand the story? (you have to play the previous games for it to make sense)
nah we were just jokin around. Ive played halo 2 and 3, i dabbled a bit in halo:ce but never finished. honestly im a die-hard halo fan but ive never payed attention to the campaign or story line at all. I just never cared. Although i did read "Contact Harvest" a novel that follows Sgt.Johnson and a grunt named Da'daab before the human vs. covenant war started. Its a prequel to Halo Wars (different story completely though) but its a good book i recommend it. I nearly cried at the end of Da'daabs story-though i wont spoil it.
Halo story line, is ****ing complex. It's direct and to the point, but there are so many small and missing pieces, which is why the books were made. Anyways, back on topic perhaps? Bungie had better give us something about Reach soon, we've pretty much got the gist' of ODST, and what it is about, so I don't see the point of anymore updates unless it's something major for ODST.
Also note that there will be new emblems added and those emblems appear on the chest plate of the ODST (much like the pirate skull on Dutch) And if you Pre-Order ODST you can use Sgt. Johnson as a playable character in Firefight. You can also alter armor once again in ODST- (ex you can use Sgt Johnson with Dutch chest and Romeo shoulders) Also There will be destructable enviroments- thats gonna be sweet!
yeah I think thats a small feature that most other FPS have but halo doesnt, now it does! ive always thought why bungie never did in the first place fo halo 3
