Welcome everyone. You are probably here out of curiosity to find out what MLGV is. You all know MLG is Major League Gaming. The V stands for Variety. Right now, we need teams for this to work in the summer league. To join, start a team of four people. Your team will need to have several things: A total of four members. A team name. Experience with the variety of maps in the league. I will only be excepting 10 teams. So, assemble your team quickly and get ready to fight. You may be saying "Wait, what do we get when we win?" and to tell you the truth, I don't know. There will be a price though. I promise. I have plenty of money to get something for a prize. Another question you might ask is what the maps will be. Well, I will let you decide on some of them. Right now, I have decided on several things. MLG Requiem V2 Agents: Cyrus Compound/Project Hoven/Dehydration/Fort Bradish/Materiel This one might suprise you: Valley of the Beasts. Some Conquest Maps (I'll let you decide) That's all that I've decided on for right now. This is going to work by from when I go into a party, I will put up the map, explain the rules of the match, state the rules, and I will then leave. Afterward, the team leader of one or both teams will send the film of the match so I can see who won. If anyone breaks the rules of this, they will be banned from the league. Not just the player, but the cheating player's team. Here are some of the rules: You can film the game as it is played. All players armor must be default (mark VI) Obey the rules of the map being played. Don't talk crap unless you can back it up. Here are the teams we've got so far. Teams: Okay, well get your team ready and prepare to fight for the prize. Also, don't forget to suggest maps. Ask questions if you have any.
Are prizes just 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or only 1 prize? Sounds kinda like fun, I might try this out. Usually people want Microsoft points prizes, but since there are 4 people... prize had better not be a 2 day trial.
I would get a team together if this was mlg only. None of this conquest gayness and probably not even BR starts.
It's ****ing Conquest. Of course there aren't any BR starts. You may not think it but Conquest does have strategy and teamwork involved in it. Go complain to AZN and I bet he can give you tons of tactics that he uses. And Agents is quite possibly one if the most teamwork based games, far better than your average MLG experience. Every game offers new twists and turns, as well as new strategies and tactics. If you have two teams that are great at communicating with each other, Agents matches can be extremely intense. I think this is a great idea and if I manage to get a team together, I love to join.
