Last night I started listening to Owen Pallett (aka Final Fantasy) once again, and am in love all over. This man who is in his 20's and from Canada is one of the most amazing violinists and live performers I have ever seen. While I love his recorded music, I choose to listen to the live recordings because it is that much more amazing, because unlike in a studio he is limited to only his violin (and the occasional piano) for his songs, but his expert use of looping causes one to often forget that this man is performing solo. Unfortunately, he rarely takes his tour to America, let alone my state, so I'll probably have to go to Canada for that to happen.
