Was it out of fear or insecurity that you went back into your previous views?

 

My preview views were atheist and agnostic...

 

And what was the thing that made you convert or however you would put it? Your epiphany moment.

 

Personal reasons, not including any form of fear or intimidation. Leave it at that.

 

New 10 Commandments

1. Thou shalt not knock it until thou hath tried it.
2. Thou shalt not waste weed. Smoke it until it is ash.
3. Thou shalt only play halo until it is not fun anymore.
4. Thou shalt do whatever he wants as long as it does no harm.
5. Thou shalt not camp with shotgun if he is in the lead.
6. Thou shalt respect all that have lived and died before and for him. (Meaning people like George Washington, not Jesus)
7. Thou shalt treat others with all the love legally possible.

The religious to atheist/agnostic ratio is low. Not much to go off of, Nitrous.

 

I'm actually kinda interested how low. Any chance of getting a poll up to see? I feel like I remember someone doing this in MLG's Thought-Producing Discussion board sometime ago and finding that there was a larger proportion of religious people vs atheist/agnostic. I think it's usually that most people don't want to get ensnared in an argument or aren't capable of arguing effectively so they don't ever post in these forums.

 

I noticed this and duly switched sides a little while ago to liven things up. Insofar, some of my best arguments have been ignored. What god was doing before the earth? Messing with people on some other planet

I'm just glad Nitrous gave us that very enlightening argument. I see things in an entirely different way!

 

Okay I have A LOT to say but don't feel like it because it will give evolutionists something their pass their time with... First off, like i said earlier dinosaurs have been discovered in areas of Africa recently explored for the first time, (not off topic) i say this because paleontologists Have been discovering "ancient" fossils buried underground. Maybe not so ancient... Carbon dating has been wrong before and gone through different stages af correctness, cant this stage also be incorrect? It all has to do with faith, God PUT evidence here to sway us, temptation, free will, all a teast, if you pass by using faith you get heaven... If you are tempted to use this evidence then you fail and therefore deserve eternal damnation with the works (lake o' fire, eternal burning, demons, satan, etc.) It's not mean for me to say this, just facts based on faith, all P.O.V.'s can be argued to human extinction ( key word extinction) like all species WE WILL END SOMEDAY so it is pointless living like this arguing over controversial topics, if you believe one thing, laugh quietly at the other "side" and MOVE ON lifes to short to argue live it nd wait for what happens, worst case scenario we are all correct and afterlife becomes chaos. Face it, we ALL are hypocrites and need to practice what we preach.
