Could be Sam, in the book he was depicted as the largest and strongest I believe, so as a spartan, he would probably be able to hold a turret with one hand.

edit: actually, they could be wearing MJOLNIR... the things sticking from the sides of their head could be the helmet visors... and the armor looks different because they may be wearing a more generic version of it, like the one from Halo wars. Those were 1337.

 

no they are wearing standard Mark V MJOLNIR armor as seen in Halo 1.

 

The Class System does make sense and it is a new direction for Bungie, sort of.

No i don't think it's sam, unless they have you play the misson in which Chief, sam and kelly invade the covenant cruser..... which would then make sam die.

Didn't they have Mark V armor during The Fall of Reach? Halo CE takes place immediately afterwards... so they have to be wearing Mark V armor.

Halo Wars takes place 20 years before Halo CE.

The Fall of Reach occurs immediately before Halo CE. You see the Pillar of Autumn escaping Reach at the beginning of Halo 2... which then leads to the events at th first Halo.

 

Do you mean halo 1? any way yes the first halo is right after the fall of reach.

 

No, thats Combat evolved. In the beggining of Halo 2, you start on one of the MAC cannons orbiting above earth I believe.

 

ya, in Halo2 you're on the OMCs getting some more medals. i hope they make a Halo:Onyx game. they could make you be a SpartanIII and have SPY armor.

 

At IGN I just read an update confirming that this will be a FPS, not a Third Person or RTS so don't keep your hopes up.

That would be online. And I'm gonna guess that it WON'T happen. Hopefully we'll be able to get more than 4 people in the campaign, but it sure seems like the campaign has lots of potential. Lots of the past was unexplained, in the book and a lot of it was skipped years... Hopefully we'll get to play those battles that weren't in the book.

 

No, they flash back to Reach in Halo 2 when the to-be Arbiter is explaining himself to the council. You never see Reach in Halo CE, although it is referenced.

Wth I'm confused now. You said that they escape reach in the pillar of autumn in the beginning of halo 2. But it couldn't have because it was destroyed in the end of Halo 1.

Also, I don't think that's Reach in the beginning with the Halo... There was never a halo ring orbiting around Reach.
