I may participate, depending on how much time I possess. Don't expect to see my entry there, but if I actually do take part, it will be a contender for the prize... ...or at least I hope it will. I don't make many competitive maps. I may make it into a minigame if I get any ideas, though I will have to make it work for team slayer; . I got your message, and I think I'll give it a go, why not. 1000 Microsoft points is good enough to encourage me. I'll download and hopefully I can get around to finding some idea or way to make this into a substantial map. But I have no ideas, so I got to think a little. You can put me down for testers as well, might as well enjoy a couple slayer games.
Ok, in the pic where you show the mancannon/tele that can be deleted, can I also delete the the interlocked block right above the mancannon? It looks like it is part of the whole mancannon rig, so I was just wondering. Also, are we required to keep the original weapon spawns or can they be moved?
I didn't think about it, but indeed the interlocked block is part of the mancannon device i was working on but failed. So yes you can remove the block, I recommend you don't delete it though because the blocks are maxed out, so each one you delete you will not be able to get back. And to answer your second question, the three weapons already placed on the structure must stay where they are. However, you can change the respawn settings if you would like.
