    Yes or no?

I myself would love the ability to use equipment like trip mines, power drains, especially on the mongoose passanger since, it has no defense, and is rendered useless when chased by a chopper or hog, unless the passanger has a rocket or a laser.

It's be good, at current the only place you can throw equipment from is the hornet as a spartan. This suggests that Bungie originally intended for equipment to be used from vehicles.

I could imagine throwing down a grav lift on the back of the mongoose, and driving into it, it would be like a speed boost or ramp or a trap for anyone in pursuit.

Or a bubble shield. Throw one down and the people shooting at you from behind can't shoot at you anymore.

I would love to do that to a warthog right on my tail.
That's if they're right behind you when you throw it. A well placed bubble shield especially in an objective game works wonders.

A power drain from the back of a vehicle would deploy too early and potentially could stop the vehicle.

Ive thought of this before but not in the same way.

I think itd be cool if you could deploy like a bubble shield or a regen onto a Warthog and drive around with it. hehe they just fall through the bottom though =O

The Power Drain doesn't immediatly take effect once deployed, it takes a few seconds to kick in and by then it could be far enough away from the vehicle, but this could be highly possible in a Warthog on a map like Sandtrap. If that happened to a Hornet over a Death Pit, I couldn't help but laugh. Another piece of Equipment that could be problematic could be the Trip mine, it could bounce or explode early killing the deployer and others in the vehicle. Deployable Cover could stop a vehicle in its tracks if deployed by the passenger infront of themselves, which again, could be a problem for a driver.

The trip mine only explodes early when it hits the ground from a high distance. On the hornet, it could be used like a bombing run. :p

But yes, the power drain in the hornet is problematic. For example, on avalanche I used one while on the side of a hornet on another hornet. The power drain hit it perfectly, and it fell to the ground, but the power drain bounced off of the same falling hornet back to us, and our bounced off the ground, and fell off the edge.

Also, there are vehicles like choppers that can destroy some equipment like power drains if used early enough. So a quick get away with a mongoose may not always work.
