Trust me i tested all vehicle possibilities and most object ones a while ago. Even with all 18 cups mongeese, wharthogs and ghosts are never attracted please feel free to test and prove me wrong but dont just say they should. Also the person above me said you needed all 18 in one spot and for some reason a radio antenna. This i did not stumble upon but you obviously couldnt use it for a planet since you need all 18 in one spot. Ill have to see what else the radio antenna does maybe it could attract mongeese or at least people who are in them. Still no planet that works only asthetic.

@ Runic Aries I already said the fact of vehicles being restricted in movement and their number of cups.

You're not pretending this is new, are you?
I can name several maps which have been using things akin to this for a while...
    Let's take
"A lovely bunch of coconuts" by Timless161 for example.

I don't see how that map uses tin cup gravitation other than golf balls, and I was trying to show that you can use more than just golf balls.

Ok quit fighting, no one cares who discovered it, lets just share our own knowledge and see if we can come up with something great...

The first map I saw to use this was saw extremity it baffled me why a prowler was getting stuck in a map but after a few minutes I got it and started testing all sorts of stuff.

Anyways does it really matter who made it this should be about new uses not who was the first person to use the concept. I tried the tin cup radio tower idea but sadly no effect I'll keep tampering to see if something will catch a mongoose maybe if I add more radio antenii.

Think about the capability in racetracks. I bet you might be able to make a loop maybe

This idea I got from Shroomz he said it would be sweet to implement them in an aircraft carier that would slow down incoming aircraft into the hull. I think it's an awsome concept.

Well, even though mongeese don't get stopped or can't go upside down from the gravity, they still get slowed down which could be used in racetracks for something like an "oil spill" or something like that. Also, does anyone know if it attracts equipment as well? It could be used very well if it attracts equipment, I'm not sure how but people could think of ways to use it.

umm have you actually tried that. I see absolutely no pull effect on mongeese as for the equipment I don't think so. I've never tried an a high cup concentration however so there might be some effect.

I did and I thought I felt it slowed down but I could be wrong... I have been wrong before... Maybe I was just seeing things but anyway I wish I could do the equipment thing right now but I am kinda bunkered down in my room atm w/ just my laptop and a lot of homework...

if you make the cups in a Ball in the air(as posted before) would they hold the vehicles driving on them? or would they simply fall off? if they don't then i have a good i dea for attracting players and mongooses.....

No you need a fair bit to hold up players and im pretty sure that once your upside down you would most likely fall off. However if someone had large forward momentum with a vehicle that was attracted say a chopper perhaps one could plausably make a perfect loop de' loop where it would be near impossible to fall off, but the cups could also slow the chopper down just causing it to fall. I may dable into these things a little on the weekend.

i had a prowler stick when it was almost all the way upside down..... i'll be working on some tonight if anyone cares to join me.GT:Mavrick145
EDIT:whom ever said that puting a ton of tin cups merged into one and then puting a radio antena in the middle is wrong and shouldn't lie, clarify me if i'm wrong but i couldn't get this to work.

No it's true, he just didn't explain it very well.

Interlock a whole load of floating tin cups, then put a horizontal radio antennae under it, it will float underneath and if you stand on it, it'll suck you in.

I too tried this and it didnt work something could you care to explain for now two forgers have failed to understand your process. Or... you could have lied but I trust that you just didn't mention something.

Well that was a quick answer thanks for clearing that up. I was right in trusting something.

PS: Do you know it that works for mongooses with people in them?

i don't think it does, but i'm going to try and do somthing about that this weekend.

Also: i know that you need a ton of tin cups, but do you need all 18?
EDIT: if you haven't done the stated thing yet don't do it. i have a map up for grabs that has this already made into it. it's a little sloppy i know, but it does the job. To get to my point here, if you stand on the radio antenna when it's on the golf holes, it'll slide you down the whole antenna(start at the end that's usualy the base.)
