sig creator competition Ive been wanting a new sig for a while now but lets make it a little more fun id like to see whos the best of the best at making sigs so im asking anybody to take my picture edit it and prove what youve got to forgehub, your free to do anything you want with the picture. There are a few things you must add My GT: Berkgina, any font, any style The background may be completly changed the person needs to be visible Now for the twist, you must add A FUNNY SIDE QUOTE it can be completly original. Now for the picture: Each week i will be updating this thread with my favorite signatures so far, you are allowed to create 3 signature's one for each week, so if you havent figured it out you have 3 weeks to create the best sig on forgehub If you have any questions feel free to send me a private message or post it right here on this thread
You can not compare one artist to another. Different styles means different tastes. Your competition is throwing that away regardless, and saying who's the best in your opinion.
Well, isn't that what a judge does? They pick the best in their opinion. Two peices of art might be really good yet completely different. Anyway, underneath the compitition, its just a sig request. He's gunna pick the one he wants as a sig.
yea, what he said is right its mainly just a request any i will be picking the one i like the most but only by my opinion, just like forgehub does with its caption contests, im not choosing who is the best im choosing who i think's signature is the best that they make this time, you might beat them another time
Here's a hint. He's a noob. As far as I'm concerned, you need at least four "opinions", an open mind, and be an expert at signature creation. True judges don't base it on opinions, but statistics.
sig shops use them this isnt the way to get the best people to make you a sig (i certainly wont cos of the way it is requested)
You've missed the point of this thread. Its a sig request, not a Crufts. True, he should just use a Sig Shop, but lots of new peeps don't know much about them or want it to be more interesting by getting more people involved.
look just dont bother commenting on this anymore if your not going to take part, if you do continue to post on this tread im going to report you for spam if you have something that is actually constructive to say about other peoples sig post's later in the competition thats fine, but for now no more
That's a good point. Well, I just strongly disagreed because people are creating sigantures just so this guy can have one he likes. So most of the signatures are going to be wasted to something that can't even be judged fairly.
frag man let me just ask how is this really affecting you, i mean if your not taking part then why bother coming back here to see what other people have said and continuosly keep repeating your point, I mean sure I have heard your point, you think I'm just gettin a sig and a bunch will be wasted, which is wrong yes i will be gettin a new sig this way hopefully if you dont ruin it but the others wont get wasted, i will be saving the other ones the the other people make, and if you want it to be more fair i can create a poll after all the signatures are in ill crate a poll and see who forgehub thinks is the best sound fair?
Simple answer. To have a discussion. And we don't need anymore challenges than the battles, and SOTW contest. Which both require the communities vote. Not just yours.
That is a pretty hard stock to work with. Its completely dark and its a stock, I hate stocks lol. But don't we already have enough contests in the graphics forum right now? SOTW Sig Battle ??
yea between the community we are the community, so since there so regular why dont you take on this new contest, because the seem to be ever so frequent you should be used to it by now but if you just cant be bothered then dont and dont post anything at all saying that your not going to or why your not going to because its just a waste of a post
This is completely different. This is for you. Only one judge. You. Every other contest has the WHOLE community vote. Now you seem to misunderstand me. I'm not saying you can't do this. I just disagree with it.
well, I'm not making one simply because there's a high chance that mine would either: A-be the only one entered;therefore, forcing your hand which I don't like B-get thrown out C-get trashed by a person that knows nothing about the making Also, making more than one sig with the same stock is pointless and unneeded. More than one week is pointless and not needed. Why call it a comp. when its just a request? And there are these bright red tags that say sig shop, try some of those.
did you not fully read one of my posts before i said i was going to add a poll after all the sigs had been submitted and the let the community decided which is best and i will use that one, and other ones in the future
