I have a 3d modeling class that I am taking it college and just wanted to see what you guys thought of it. I modeled using 3ds Max 2009 and a V-Ray SP 1.5 Renderer. Comments and suggestions would be appreciated, but keep in mine that I know I kept some objects out of the reference image. Reference Image ScreenShot #1 ScreenShot #2 (View from bathtub) ScreenShot #3 ScreenShot #4 ScreenShot #5 Thanks!
Nice stuff man. Do you do anything in Modern Interior Design? I love those types of setups, I might go for a job with that.
I'm not too interested in interior design, but I mean like I could use my knowledge with 3d modeling to do virtualy anything a client would want me to do.
Really? I am assuming you want to be paid for your work, but you should try making a stage, that Slipknot played on perhaps, that would be f***ing intense!
Who doesn't want to get paid? It's what am going to school for. Here is a Dr. Pepper bottle I did earlier in the year. You can see the transition I used going from this bottle to my final project. I started using more advanced materials to make it for realistic, but I didn't have the knowledge of that when I made this bottle. I concert scene would be a pretty hefty project and I don't think my computer could handle all of the polygons required. There are a bunch of small objects that require a great amount of detail.
These are great man. At first I was looking like "OK do you honestly need all these pictures so we know what you Bathroom looks like?" and then I was like "Wow wow wow wait wait!!! OMG these are the 3D ones!!!" These are so good they fooled me at first. That is impressively good. Seriously though keep it up. Have you made any other stuff other than this? I would love to see more.
I haven't made anything else that I have put in the same amount of time on as the bathroom. I had about 40+ hours into the bathroom. I waited till the week it was due and we have like almost two months to do it, so I had a few 10 hour work days. I'll be creating a bunch of more objects and scenes, but right now I'm just kinda burned out of modeling right now. haha. Thanks for the comments tho! I'll see if I can scrounge up anything else I've made. **EDIT** Here is a tire rim that I made awhile ago. One is wireframe to show the type of detail. And Yes I made it 4 spoke because I ****ed up...I'm just gangsta like that.
