    I wanted to do both but yeah you're right about not having enough room for blood harvest...
    death toll it is!

    and to everyone involved in L4D remakes, I believe we should put the gloomy effect on every map from now on, I just tried it and the effect made the game look just like L4D (if you are having trouble seeing just turn up the in game brightness)

    I tried experimenting with all sorts of effects, but in the Crypt I just couldn't see anything. It was just way too dark and didn't look good. I don't think people would want to change their brightness just to play on one map either.

    I agree with Cheesejam. Gloomy looks really cool on Survival maps, in the skybubble that is. If it is in the crypt, then no, and maybe if on the regular level. And on other maps than sandbox, probably not. It really depends, and in some, like my Beach house map, the lights already make the map feel scary enough and add a cool feeling to the game.

    Alright, no gloomy then, but when I make my v2 of Rooftop finale I will add it to the level

    I also need to tweak some health and damage stats, but I need to do some testing still...

    Well, I scratched The Church idea, but I am going to be making a orginal Survial map, in the crypt, it was the only place my map would work. I am starting it, just about now.

    Gloomy does make the map look more like L4D, but flares are basically pointless when a gloomy filter is placed. So if you plan to use a flare, don't use gloomy.

    EDIT: Also, I'm thinking of making a survival map on Last Resort. It has a zombie release switch included. Forging laziness ftw.
    Of course, I might not. IDK.

    Hey guys, heres a little preview of my orginal Survial map, heres one of the first buildings you will see.

    This looks pretty good so far, can't wait for the finale product. As for me, I'm trying to decide between an original map or the Drains from Death Toll. Please tell me which and that will likely be my next map. I don't know when I'll finish that next one though because I have lots of things going on right now, finals, school projects, summer camps, and more.

    As I said in your profile page, I know what you mean man. I need to get my mind more focused on schooll....****, I can't wait for summer...

    An original map would have to be extraordinary to stand out but a remake will attract instant attention and If you can make an extraordinary remake then you have a great map in your hands.

    I am also in a mix with schooling, in fact, Im doing some right now.

    Hmmm, I've thought about that. Originals can look really good, but won't stand out in eyes of public, or if they do, then they don't recognize it as L4D or whatever gametype it is based on. I think I'll stick to remakes right now and go with originals after a bit more forging experience and clear focus for the map. Thanks.

    Yah, school is annoying. Too any projects, especially at the end of the year. I'm with you all the way there, hating school. Oh well, just a few more weeks :)

    I have a new crescendo for consideration I now have to decide between the church and the death toll crescendos...
    and I have a new idea of how the survivors will start, they will start like the infected will.

    They spawn in their own room and after 10-20 seconds a blocked teleporter will be unblocked and after 30 seconds kill balls will spawn in the room to make sure they leave. this way the infected physically can't pick up the survivor's weapons and they have a reason to conserve ammo

    your guys' thoughts?

    I like it, but still, you would still need ammo on the map. Because you wont survive in Halo, for lets say 5 minutes+ with starting ammo.

    Also, go for The Church, because I was going to do that, but with my forging skills as of now, I couldn't do it. But oh well.

    well if everyone picks up one shotgun and an AR or BR it should last pretty long, but It would definitely need testing.

    I'll see how it works later.

    Pretty cool. I have finished my Survival Mode Level. I am making the video for youtube and then I am going to post it here on FH.

    I will also make more levels for future "DLC"...

    Thanks for the Credit Eternal, but a tip, sort them, like it did, Remakes, and Originals. Be easier to pick out.

    Also, I have a name for my map. It might not be the final, but oh well.
    "Genesis"

    Update on Map:
    Building A "Small Apartment":100%
    Building B "Garage Vehicle": 0%
    Building C " Small House": 0%
    Building D "Two level house": 0%
    Generator Room (Surivior Start) 100%
    Zombie Spawn system:75% (Would be about 85%, but Testing will be big part)
    Total: About 20% lmao.
    Also, there will be more building, but I don't want to give it all away, now do I?

    Yeah, uh, darkest, you may want to use that edit button. Instead of triple posting.
    I've been trying to decide which map to make the survival on...I like some of the settings of the pre-DLC levels (High ground, Last Resort) but then there's the challenge of actually forging it using the limited abilities of the levels...so I'm torn.
    I think I might go with the Last Resort building actually.

    I really would like to see it on Last Resort, that would be sick. Try it out man, see if it works.

    I don't think the older levels are harder to forge on I just think that it's harder to make the levels look nice
