    Alright, here is the link to Beach House. Please comment, I'm working on version 2 still. Don't worry about the boats though! I will delete those, I kinda just put that in at the end and learned my lesson. Just comment on the map (read all posts before repeating something someone already said (ex: it is impossible to create the L4D feel, or I don't think the zombie spawn works).

    I remade Crane. I would post it. but im too lazy. Lololz. But I can give my map to you and you can like take all the credit. Im really nothing on forgehub so yeah. Its In my File Share. My GT: Lil Devil9597. I really like the idea of combining Halo 3 and L4D Together. Nice Idea.

    Thanks, but I take little credit for this idea. I know people have tried doing this, but I can't really find maps like this, so I just want to offer my ideas to forgehub and give them a challenge. That's all this is for. My map was 1) just for fun for me and to show forgehub that this CAN be done and SHOULD and 2) to set a precedent for more maps like this to come. I might make a few more like this, but I am also on another forge project now.

    For the crane map (which I still need to check out) if I post it, I will take NO credit for it, just for posting it and maybe just some if I edit it, but it is your map. I am not one to steal ideas, just build on them. With permission of course.

    The church is good as long as it doesn't come off as incredibly similar to current Haunted-Manor-esque infection maps. It has cool geometry though, and as long as the guidelines of Survival mode are kept in place (at least 2-3 entrances to any location, risk/reward balancing, etc) then it could prove very fun.

    Making a Survival map like in L4D? Usually any infection on Halo is survival. But I guess you could make that Lighthouse map....

    Really I hated that added L4D feature...

    What I was thinking of doing is have the basic church map, then far away have the place for Zombies, and they chose to be one of the special infected (Over=Hunter, Camo=Smoker, and Custom=Boomer.) and each one leads to different parts of the map (Top of Church, Back way, and Down the hill...way) And the humans would spawn at the same place as it is in L4D, and like the person who posted this thread, make the teleporters spawn in 30 seconds.

    Edit: Also, the little shack thing, I deiced to have the open, in stead of closed, but it is close to a zombie Tele.

    i have an idea for alarms (if alarms are like shooting a car/doing loud things to attract the horde) You can make teles near the zombie spawn...put a fusion coil receiver nodes in random parts of the map...then when somebody shoots it or pushes it over, zombies can immediately get there through teles

    Here's my remake of Survival Mode: L4D Courtyard

    It has very similar gameplay to Left 4 Dead, on a brand new map specially designed for Halo 3. Hope you guys like it! :)

    a quick question, while not left 4 dead couldn't we incorporate new types of special infected instead of just limiting ourselves to the regulars? I just think that if we create some new special infected we could add a little more variation to the game type, and prevent some things from getting repetitive.

    Nice job Cheddarboy, and Cheesejam as well. Looks like we have a few new gametypes on here for people to enjoy, all L4D gametypes. I'll get back to you after I play both maps, but I'll wait until then

    I'm fine with you using mine, and I would assume Eternal Reconnaissance would be as well. Having a standard gametype will help make the maps feel connected.

    To reply I'm going to say this to everyone who views this thread:

    Yes, I give permission to take the survival mode gametype or ideas from it from me. I really do not mind, as long as you either acknowledge me or this thread. If you do though, I am perfectly fine then.

    Hey its no problem, as long as you acknowledge that we also made L4D maps. Otherwise it is fine. I saw the map and it looks pretty good and the switch is creative. What makes it different is that it is a Crescendo event, rather than Survival mode, as most of ours are.

    I have a new idea for the zombie system. The zombies would each spawn in random tubes in the crypt and there are random special infected in some of those tubes. Lucky zombies would get to be these infected, but once they leave the tube they can't get back in without death. This makes for a random system in which no zombie can have 2 special infected weapons. I think this would work way better and I will put it in my next Survival map (likely an original)

    I think my next level will be the blood harvest finale or the death toll finale, but I can't decide...
    which one would you guys be more interested in seeing?

    I would personally go with the Death Toll finale, because it is slightly smaller, and this was actually the second map I wanted to see made. Plus, Blood Harvests end is ENORMOUS and I would make that after more thought is put into it. Right now its just an idea, but we may not be able to carry it out.
