Faith did not create God, God is everything... God created us... Please use your "logic" to disprove it. God is not imagination, God is real, Faith is what we must have in him in order to believe.
Why is God everything, How is God everything. God can't have no creator. It defies every Law, Physic, Theory. God was created by minds of people 2000 or 4000 years ago, whichever viewpoint you want to take Judaism or Christianity. That's not debating anything more of a "I am right, you are wrong" thing.
God is everything, because he created everything. God does not have a creator, that is why he is everything. God created Law, physics, theory. God was brought up by people 2000 or 4000 years ago.
Proof? If a chef makes every ingredient of a cake from scratch, he is therefore the cake. That is pretty much what you just said.
Fine, so God is the universe. I actually proposed that before; but anyway, assuming he exists: Why is he sentient?
No, he used flour which goes to wheat, which goes to nature, which goes to atoms, which goes to God. You just use the tools God gave you. Because he is everything...
What tools did God use? Matter cannot be created or destroyed. I guess thats where creationism comes in... also, technically, atoms are made up of other subatomic particles lol but that isnt the point ;P
You might want to point that out... God is everything, therefore he can also create, that is why we are here. We don't know, he is everything, therefore he could use anything...
Alright this is just a wondering question, because I remember seeing it a while back, but didn't see the answer, so just to rehash, If God is perfect, then shouldn't all of his creations be perfect?
In red and RRain, stop being so Xenophobic, it's not helping this debate by just saying no God created everything, no God created everything, no God created everything, no God created everything.
Why? He could choose to make us imperfect to see what we do, so that we may mess up. So that we may attempt to be perfect and achieve what others may not, so we could be different.
No, so he could see how we act, those who are superior must show benevolence, those who are poor must show faith... that is how it is supposed to work.
Ok. I was just asking for an explanation, as I wanted to hear why. Although, from what I have read in this thread, We as humans were originally perfect before sin. If we were perfect, we should have been immune from sin... but either way I will go with what you said. Although also, my question also referred to things not just human, like the earth itself. The earth is an oblate spheroid, not a perfect sphere... why?
But, God is perfect so he would already know what the result is, and if it was just for ourselves to learn, he could have created us already knowing this fact.
Well no the idea Rain is saying is that God wanted us to learn for ourselves, not to just have the knowledge instilled in our minds.
Everything was created perfect, but what is perfection, perfection does not mean that a sphere has to be 100% round, that is how we perceive perfection, but perhaps perfection to God is something that is different... We do not see a star dying as perfection, but perhaps it is perfection, just not what we would think of perfection, but what God would see as perfection.
